EVERYTHING! Peace and quiet...
Was only 1 night - I would come back here for a few nights and just relax

Absolutely loved the place.
This is the place I would want to be, to get away from all the city noise, and relax in a pool with your significant-other.
They had a free breakfast, and a "game room" I would call it, plus the cutest cat ever in the room <3
There's a little parking spot right next to the hotel, and the pool was kept nice and clean.
Rooms are extremely spacious, and kept clean.
This hotel deserves way more than 3 stars, and I had the luxury of meeting the owner, which is one of the nicest people I've ever met.
I didn't end up staying the whole period intended, due to an anxiety attack I had.
Still not sure what triggered it, but the owner was so nice to credit me the remaining days, and informed me that I can come back and stay those days whenever :)
The hotel could use more range extenders, so the Wi-Fi can be used in all rooms.
This is a farm stay, so this next point is only personal opinion :)
The rooms could also use more sound deadening, so you wouldn't wake up to the sound of people walking outside, since the terrain is basically pebbles.

It was fun with a lovely atmosphere and garden. It took us back in time. The lady that looked after us was wonderful.
Because the property is a long way from other shops etc it needs somewhere with run water and a sink so you can prepare a picnic with the ability to also clean up a few dishes.

So peaceful, away from hectic, noisy life: heaven on earth !

Avoid this establishment at all costs! The room provided was filthy, and the property was disgusting. When we complained to the owner, he became livid, ordering us to leave his property immediately and refusing to give any refund. He also verbally insulted us, and appeared violent. When we protested, he called the police in an effort to intimidate us, threatening us with arrest. The police came and apologized for the owner’s poor behavior, saying that he clearly was having “a bad day.” And despite all of this, the owner still refuses a refund, and so literally has stolen our money, necessitating a lengthy dispute process. Clearly this owner has anger management issues and has business being in the hospitality industry. Again, do yourself a favor and avoid this establishment at all costs!

The animals and the quietness
The dirt road getting to it. Poor wifi.

Breakfast was very good, nicely prepared and freshly made.
Location was very nice, romantic cozy place in the middle of nowhere. Perfect to get some peace and quiet. A lot of wineries in the area

The location was great, definitely met my expectations in terms of surroundings. Quiet, beautiful and relaxing.
Staff was very friendly as well.
The room was not that clean(black mold on the walls, balcony door was almost desintegrating from woodworms, carpet full of crums), pool was not officially open (yet we were told we can use it but the water was dirty) and the smallest TV I've ever found in a room I've rented(impossible to see from the bed).

Regardless of our experience overall, the location is pretty and the grounds are nicely kept.
The host was a little less than welcoming and we were charged more than we agreed, which left us feeling somewhat disgruntled. The entire place was still very much overwhelmed by COVID restrictions, even though we are now in February 2022 and most restrictions have been lifted. So being over-charged when the entire place is operating in a restricted fashion is simply greedy. The entire place and experience was very underwhelming.

We absolutely adored every last detail of this magical place and its wonderful hosts! It is really difficult to capture in words or in photos the honest and creative charm imbued in this place, and the happy and memorable feelings evoked by it. Every corner of every space of the resort, both inside and outside has been attended with curious and homey decorations and bric-a-brac—from antique furnishings and comfortable cushions to rustic wagon wheels and well-kept plants to european paintings and african sculptures. The room jacuzzi is huge and relaxing and the fluffy robes a welcome comfort to slip into after a dip. The skylight over the large and comfortable bed reveals a wealth of beautiful stars. The terraces and outdoor seating areas are sunny and spacious. The beds, duvets, pillows, and blankets are cozy and warm. There are fireplaces, musical instruments, sitting and eating nooks, a retro-style record player as well as CD player. Don't forget the animals! pigs, sheep, geese, ducks, chickens, goats and more are friendly and adorable. The resort is quiet and remote, but within a short and easy driving distance of the town. Parking is plentiful. We took our breakfast outdoors, served by the sweetest and most accommodating woman you can imagine...fresh breads, jams, eggs, coffee, juice, ham, cheese, and more! And then of course, there is Juan-Carlos, the distinguished gentleman and consummate host—always with a humble smile on his face, and a friendly gesture. Comarquinal exceeded our expectations in every way. If you have the chance to go for a night or a week—just do it. You will not regret it!
wifi and cell signal are a little weak, but that just forced us to be more present in this tranquil environment! Connection is strong enough to be in contact for urgent matters.

Very dirty, smell to chemicals products in the room to treat the mood

We felt like home. As if we already were part of the hotel in family. Brilliant big room in nice, cosy style. Juan Carlos was a very great host.
We booked the whirlpool Suite and I would have loved to have bathrobes there after the pool session.

Everything, from the owner to the animals, gardens are beautiful, wonderful pool, comfy beds and large bath towels 👌
Juan Carlos, an excellent host and so helpful.
Lady that served our breakfast in the garden, was lovely. So much breakfast we were full for the day.
Everything was perfect. Its a special place to stay..
As others have mentioned, the road is more like a track but if you take it easy it's absolutely fine.

Everything: the quietness, the huge swimming pool, the solitude. The animals, the breakfast...
The road to the place is dirt with some potholes, also Google maps insists on taking you through the vineyards. Of course, not the fault of the Comarquinal....
