Comfortable couches, furnace open fire, lots of wood provided, well appointed kitchen, cosy beds, great doonas, bathroom heater light. Great location - Close to Great Ocean Road, Anglesea and Lorne.

We loved the isolation, the privacy, the security for my furbaby AND the woodfire.
It's not a complaint .. I did find the doona on the Queen bed to be very heavy and not as cosy as some.

In the woods with the birds
Fireplace chimney did not draw well - tree branch was over the top and no grate in the fireplace. Poorly insulated concrete walls - very chilly.

The cottage is so cosy and comfortable. The couches in the lounge are great for relaxing and the rooms are spacious. Plenty of kitchen items provided and a clean bathroom. The place is very pet friendly with a safe enclosed patio area. Highly recommend if travelling with a dog!

My wife and I travelled with another couple - and we had ONE cottage each. The cottages were very clean and the internal walls with an interesting mud brick type render finish. The furniture was almost new and suited the cottages.
We had all the facilities we needed such as crockery, cutlery, glassware, cooking facilities microwave etc. When searching for accommodation for this holiday, many of the accommododation sites were stating - bring your own linen and towels.
This was NOT the case at these cottages. Everything supplied. And close to the Pub and other restaurants for meals. EXCELLENT.
Nothing - These cottages really exceeded our expectations.

Dust roads to get to it.

Location okay,
No wifi
The property was only 3 star.

Liked everything except the requirement to vacuum the cottage before leaving. Happy to tidy up like anywhere else but who wants to spring clean someone else's place when you're on holidays? Lose the vacuuming.
As above

Nice quiet location, clean and comfortable and good for the dogs.

Lovely and quiet away from the Highway
Very old and cold for the price. There was no mention of heating being ONLY via fireplace (of which there were no matches for on arrival, however the emergency contact arranged this kindly for us).
$370 for two nights was far too much.

Nothing to dislike

Cosy private cottages. Little courtyard and lovely fire to enjoy.
No soap left in bathroom. Just an oversight for that day, hopefully.

This place was lovely for a short stay. Wood fire place was awesome, thats the main reason for booking this site. My daughter (3 yr old) loved getting wood for the fire. And that my daughter had never been to the beach.
Communication between site owners and guest. All i got was a text on the code where the key was, and that was the last time i heard for them. Trying to find 75 Great Ocean Road to hand the key back was even worse, i ended up leaving it with the post office.
The information given inside the property was out of date for the season i travelled. The Information Sheet that was on the Fridge was very small really unreadable. That included the fact not even a fish and chip shop was open.
Nothing is open in the area through winter apparently they only need your money through the summer months.

Making the beds haha. But that's ok, I would still stay there again.

Clean. Location was good. Quiet. Site was lovely as went on a lovely walk at dusk to an area where there were 100-200 kangaroos.
Very tired, mould on the ceiling. Needed a good clean up outside. Could do with a good update. We understand it must be hard to complete this given the lack of people staying over the last 2 years. but to head away for a weekend after so long it was disappointing given the cost. Sorry!

Accommodation was clean and very quiet. Conveniently located a short walk to the shops, restaurants and the Surf Coast Walk (make sure to take insect repellent).
