Fantastica soluzione per ottime escursioni naturalistiche nei tacchi d'Ogliastra !

Francesco si è dimostrato molto alla mano: siamo riusciti ad anticipare il check-in per un nostro impegno precedente (e a posticipare il check-out per via della nostra lentezza ...). Ottima colazione davanti al caminetto acceso !

If visiting Ussassai this is a good option

Ussassai is located in a beautiful part of Sardinia

Peaceful and perfect for hikers/rock climbers.

I chose B&B Gennarcu in Ussassai because I was looking for a peaceful place with beautiful scenery and I wasn't disappointed. I spent a week at Fransesco's B&B and he took a great care of me - he even offered to share his dinner with me as the only restaurant in the village was closed at that time. He also helped me to arrange for a transfer service from and to the airport, gave me the information about the hiking trails around Ussassai and was kind enough to get me extra heater in the room (it was unusually cold March). The room was specious, the bathroom was clean, the house full of charm and memories, and of course the lovely fireplace. The village is small but meets all the basic needs - there's a grocery shop, pharmacy, 2 bars, butcher etc. And there are lots of hiking trails starting nearby. Thank you again for a wonderful hospitality.

Great and lovely Place to stay!! :)

This was one of the nicest BnBs I have ever been to! Francesco is a fantastic host, the house is lovely and for cold days the fireplace in the living room is just great! I really enjoyed spending time with Francesco and his daughter and I hope to see you again one day! :)

Passable

It's a cute little village with a few nice walks to do and a nice host

Very difficult to go around and enjoy the area without a car so a short stay may be recommended The bnb is on the main road therefore quite noisy Lastly the bed springs may be slightly annoying

perfect.

the stay was perfect. had a nice chat and pizza with the host and some friends of him in the evening arount the chimney. very lovely house with interesting fotos drawings and other stuff on the walls. defenetly recommend to stay here. :-)

Disappointing

Around the beautiful nature.

One of the worst places I've stayed. We were greeted by a drunken, though friendly, host. The rooms are quite clean, but with old furniture and a peculiar smell. Hostess or assistant owner very unfriendly woman.
