The air-conditioning was most welcome, and the selection of food was fabulous.

The air-conditioned room, the Mess Hall

“Just across the road from the airport” was actually a long hall (over a km) for an older woman lugging 30kg of luggage (no wheeled suitcase) on a really hot day. Was saved by some passing locals who felt sorry for me, and gave me a lift. I even rang the Landing and asked about this before my travels, so they may need to amend their advice!

We only had one fault (the bed as previously mentioned) everything else was faultless

Absolutely fantastic service from everyone , from the start to finish Everything was a really easy process

Our bed was worn out and dipped to the middle, this made for an uncomfortable sleep

Transit stay served a purpose of bed that’s about it

Convenient

Barracks style accommodation clearly designed for FIFO and should be labeled as such. Room smelt and shower was calcified and stained.

Good location, Clean facilities and free breakfast/lunch/dinner make this a great affordable place.

Good food with takeaways available for lunch. Friendly staff and clean facilities.

One small bar of soap is supplied in the shower. Some more of that and shampoo would be excellent.

Couldnt wait to leave port hedland.

Checking out in the morning and going to muffin break to pay for my own breakfast.

AS it was advertised as a resort I expected more than just a messy and noisy cafeteria, there was no kettle in the room, wifi didn't work. Even though the instructions said you didn't need a password it kept asking for one. 1 thin, poor quality towel, flat pillows. Overall all very poor for over $300 for one night. For people who are not familiar with mining camps advertise if for what it is.

The establishment is advertised as a "resort" it is a mining camp. The room an Hallways smelled like old an dirty socks, an the room was nothing as was perceived to be in the booking add. All in all for what it was, the room was a massive let down an the booking ridiculously over priced. We did not complain on check put, as the girl at the front desk was lovely, an being a hospitality worker myself-knowing there is a staff shortage-we did not want to make a scene or her job any harder.

Well priced and conveniently located. We would definately stay there again.

It is a place predominately for workers and is set up like a mining camp, with a mess hall etc. The room was clean and tidy; not large, but comfortable. Meals were very good.

The check in was a bit rushed and impersonal. Carrying a suitcase over the uneven ground was a bit of chore. (I think my wife packed for a month). Fortunately we were on the ground floor.

Just the volume of people staying at but this isn't my preferred type of accommodation. I like stand alone cabins etcetera

Clean and Functional

The rooms are comfortable and typical FIFO accommodation. The whole facility is perfect for a quick stop over when you do not want to go looking for food - it is all on hand and of a very good quality. Would stay again

Upon checkin I was made to feel like an alien asking about checkin and I'd rooms were available early and that I was happy to pay extra. So I went and sat in the common area and watched about 20 rooms being finished then went back an hour and half before checkin time. I asked the lady very nicely if there was any chance any rooms were ready, she didn't even look at anything and just told me again what time checkin was dismissing me very rudely. This is a very common practice from 2star to 5 star hotels I've stayed in. If it's not common for them that is fine but there's is no need to tall to people like that.

Superb

A lovely compact hotel.Great for overnight stay.Excellent being able to have dinner and breakfast included.Loved the feel and gardens nice around hotel section. Fabulous value.
