Very peaceful great place to relax

The breakfast met with our requirements. The amenities were good. The gardens and birds were very pretty.
Nothing to add here.

Was a nice addition. Simple continental, was very sufficient for breakfast.
Decor dated, could do with a bit of modernising
4.2
Tranquil and relaxing.
Bull ants

very clean well equiped chalet older style but everything you needed and the views lovely gardens very quiet location.
4.2
Comfortable room & bed just a 3-min drive to town. Our back door lex straight out onto the deck with a stunning view of the gardens. Continental breakfast provided. Daily 4pm bird feeding was nice to watch quietly. Quick & helpful communication with host prior to our stay. We will be back!
The disabled access room doesn’t have a ledge to block the water flow, or a dip in the floor so the water drains properly as you shower. Made the whole toilet area wet & muddy after someone had had a shower.
4.2
Peaceful, quiet, beautiful garden and deck to enjoy views and birdlife. Larger room than regular 'motels', seperate bedroom to living room and kitchenette.
4.2
Wonderful large wooden decking overlooking river and valley was a pleasant surprise. Family had booked 4 units and the large decking was a great place to meet , have coffee and chat.
4.2
Location was wonderful Breakfast was simple and adaquate.
Nothing

the surrounding
the bread what was in the fridge for breakfast was mouldy , the vertical blinds didn’t close properly so people could see in when you where sleeping, very old and dated , the deck needs replacing on the balcony very dangerous

Great location
Friendly staff
Clean accommodation
breakfast provisions
someone parked in my space outside bedroom and left at 5.30am which woke me up
4.2
Generous continental breakfast. Host provided us with undercover parking which our unit did not have. Manager was helpful in providing solution to cooking problem.
Unable to cook inside as kitchen exhaust fan not working then BBQ self ignition did not work. The BBQ lighting wand also did not work. Path down to river needs repair and maintenance.

Barbara was fantastic. I had forgotten to take the cooler, which she helped me to get without any hassle. Great service. Wonderful location right at the bank of the Blackwood River. Spacious chalet facing the river. Huge varandah.
Be careful about the large ants outside in the garden. They bite faster than you can imagine.
4.2
Fantastic location overlooking the river amongst beautiful gardens that was home to so many birds who all came to visit at feeding time. Although breakfast was technically not included, there was bread, cereal, milk, jams etc enough for both days!
Wifi would be great, but phones worked fine for a hotspot
4.2
Nice to sit by the river and gardens are excellent
Sofa cushions very worn require replacing. And standard light and fan light require new bulbs.
4.2
The property was very peaceful, in lovely surrounds. Large well appointed rooms very clean.
A basic continental breakfast supplied which was appreciated.
It is getting some age on property and maintenance on decking etc will be required in not too distant future. But fine for now

Lovely peaceful location

Clean comfortable room. Outlook magnificent. Sat on the verandah on a cool morning viewing lots of colourful birds to the backdrop of mist rising over the Blackwood river through the forest. Great way to forget about the drama of the world.
4.2
Was lovely and warm and great scenic location
Bathroom and kitchen desperately need a makeover
4.2
Location. Outlook onto the garden and the bird feeding and viewing.
Comfortable bed.
No WiFi
Uncomfortable couch which was difficult for seniors to get up from.
4.2
Beautiful gardens, lovely set up.
4.2
Excellent stay , comfortable, great location, awesome bird feeding and views on the Blackwood River
4.2
Location and out side deck overlooking the river was lovely
It is advertised as a luxury, spacious, adult accommodation. It was spacious and adult only but luxurious it is certainly not! It is very tired with outdated furniture and a ridiculously small TV!
