I would recommend staying here !!
Perfect accomodation, very comfortable. hosts very kind and accomodating to my early check in and even took my luggage up the stairs when I was away And allowed me to check out at 0600 in the morning. They gave me a little gift as I left and I am very grateful for that.
I have one negative and that it is a little bit of a walk to the train station other than that it’s perfect stay for someone wanting an authentic Japanese stay.

Amazing hospitality and room
Owner was very kind and responsive to messages. He also provided welcome snacks and departure gifts. The place was clean and beautiful, with a fully equipped kitchen. We loved everything about the stay.

exactly what I needed for visiting that side of Kyoto.
I love the place, it was spacious, neat, with everything needed, private, close to where I wanted to go (Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Hozugawa River Boat Ride, Kuuya-no-Taki Waterfall), the host was very welcoming (I could also store my luggage after check out) and very japanese, which was impressive and I was also impressed by the omiyage tea he gave me when I left! I felt at home there, definitelly recommending it and will stay there again next time!

A great area to explore.
We liked the guest house, the friendliness of the owner and the area of Arashiyama.
It was very difficult to find.
