Ausstattung, Parkplatz, ruhige Lage
Alter des Gebäudes brachte es mit sich, daß sechs bzw. acht Türen bis zur Wohnung benutzt werden mußten.
Sauberkait ist oberflächlich.

Very nice accommodation with good location , nice time for holiday.

Lovely building with high ceilings and lots of light. Very well equipped. Great location on the quay.

The location right next to hapenny pier. The apartments facilities... Everything!
Nothing!

The location is perfect, an easy walk to the town and right on the quayside with everything you need within close proximity. The bright and airy apartment with a great chill out lounge and really comfy beds. Everything is clean and it just is a lovely place to retreat to at the end of the day. So quiet and a gorgeous huge sash windows letting in a ton of light. They make it so easy for you to self sufficiently check in and out. They also left a box of chocolates and some soft drinks out for us which was lovely.
This is the second time I've stayed here and I'd definitely use it as my base anytime I am back in the area. The shower is quite low pressure and you do have have to remember to put the booster on but this is such a small and bearable thing in the grand scheme of things!

Complimentary tea coffee chocolate and wine
Broken shower heads poor internet dirty uncomfortable mattress and pillows to be fair to host raised these issues and he said he’ll address them photos of key lock location needs updated as amount of key locks has changed

We loved the apartment with its high ceilings and giant windows it was very spacious. We loved the location with the Alma across the road and The Pier restaurant next door. The free parking was a bonus and the WiFi worked well for the teenagers.
We had a slight issue with enough bedding on the first night but this was quickly resolved.

it was roomy and comfortable and a great location
bathroom was small

The location was excellent for the Quayside and beach.Very quiet location given it was xmas eve.Spacious apartment with full kitchen.Has a general lift for all residents.Michael very helpful on Xmas day as cooker wouldn't turn on,soon pointed me towards the fuse box so I could cook my Xmas Dinner.Lots of lights and fans around. No problems managing to park.
Didn't like walking back along corridors at night to get to the apartment as on my own.The apartment door lock is loose. No view as windows faced onto carpark.Pillow covers and quilt need replacing as stained which I did not expect in a property charging £200+ per night.Bathroom is tight for a larger person to move around in.Seems like plenty of hanging room but wardrobes are full of other stuff.Smoke alarm had been put in a drawer with a note from a previous guest to say they detached it as it kept making a noise at night and was faulty.

Great location, once the property was warmed through it was very comfortable
The building let it down greatly! The property was cold and had a slight damp smell when we arrived but was great once the heating was on. Parts of it could have benefited from a deep clean (windowsills, bathroom tiles, skirting boards) but overall it was good

We had a lovely stay with our boys at the apartment On the Quay. Super clean, comfy and great instructions so we knew how to work / find everything. Ideal location to explore charming old town of Harwich and the beach.
2.5
it was in the right location.
the apartment building was grubby and unkempt. The shower was not clean with mould around the tiling. The small bedroom was not very comfortable. opening the front door was difficult.
4.5
Location. The living area was very pleasant - really high ceilings.
Nothing really.
4.5
Great location, good layout, clear information helpful caretaker. Ease of access, comfortable beds . Good local information and great pub The Alma across the road.
The bathroom floor was dirty, there were remains of food on some of the crockery. Could have done with a bedside cabinet with drawers in the small bedroom. Duvet in this room inadequate. Surprised no mattress covers, the double one is marked already - it looks quite new. I understand given the size and nature of the building that our host has little impact on the access but the smell and state of the carpets is a bit off putting.

homely with everything to hand for our needs

The location was perfect for the pier with a variety of potential eating places associated with pubs or bars close by.
We had a little trouble initially getting access to the key because the box was awkwardly located.

Everything was great. The flat had everything we needed, and even a travel cot and a high chair for our toddler. The flat was nicely warmed up before we arrived, we had the instructions for everything in the email. Lovely all round.
We arrived after dark and couldn't figure out where to enter the building. It would help to have a map or drawing in the welcome pack showing where the entrance is.
2.5
We came in first through the rear entrance. The first impression was the communal areas were looking tired and the carpet was very old and faded.
The decor and finish were looking a bit tired in the flat.
There seemed to be electric cables everywhere.
The bathroom was tight for space.

Quiet & good location

Smell in the building (like very old carpets)

the property was really clean and spacious , all what’s needed is provided including towels, the kitchen was modern and contained all the necessary appliances,
sadly when we were there the bedroom window was boarded up due to maintenance reasons, one other thing we did notice was there were no smoke alarms anywhere in the property which was a bit of a worry.

Had a fantastic stay.
The apartment was very clean and felt Covid safe and secure. I didn't have to wash the cups and plates before use like I usually do in self catering accommodation.
Great location - everything was within walking distance but was still quiet and peaceful.
The beds were very comfortable - had a good night's sleep.

The property was in a great location, the owner helpful when originally contacted and the parking a real plus.
The building felt deserted and quite eerie to be walking around in on my own. It smelled stale and unwelcoming. But the biggest point against it was that there was no hairdryer. . .sounds petty I know, but at £175 per night, It should have been included. I got ready to go out for a meal and discovered only once my hair was dripping wet that there wasn’t a hairdryer included in the cost per night. It meant that I had to cancel my table at The Pier, as I didn’t want to be sat on my own looking like a drowned rat. There was nowhere open to buy a hairdryer the next day, so my second night was also spent eating in the room. Just this little detail really did spoil my weekend away.

Our hosts gave us very clear instructions for collecting the keys, and for how everything worked in the apartment. The apartment was very clean with all of the facilities we needed. The main building and hallways are quite old and musty but the apartment itself is modern and was absolutely perfect for our stay.
5.0
Lovely quiet location and comfortable apartment, the owners ensured we had information on all electronics and included a local guide, the area itself is quiet but has great beaches within walking distance and a short drive to bigger areas like Felixstowe and Clacton. Overall great little break which was just what we needed.
