We had the garden studio, so no direct view of the castle, but that's the only drawback and we were aware of this before we arrived. Even though the property is well away from the main road the river is very near and there are plenty of public benches with excellent views of the castle. Outside the room there's a small court yard with table chairs and umbrella as well as a bench.
The room was exactly as described with a coffee corner and a limited amount of appliances (Senseo coffee maker, kettle, toaster, small fridge with freezer) and table wear, perfect for our needs. There's a separate bathroom and toilet, everything perfectly clean, plenty of towels. The bed was of good quality, plenty of pillows.
We had bad weather and it wasn't so warm, but I think during hot summer weather the room could get quite hot, there was a fan available.
Car park was right next to the room behind a hedge, super handy. Access to the studio room is via stairs, good to be aware of. Penny supermarket is 2 minutes walk and has fresh bakery department, open Mo-Sa, closed on Sunday. Cochem city center is just 10 minutes walk along the river via a nice boardwalk
Nothing 😊

Outside space good and parking available. Small kitchen facilities good also.
It is a good walk into town centre. No communication with hosts. Would have liked some local knowledge and recommendations.

Location
nothing not to like

Great view of the castle ,comfy bed, close to supermarket and bakery, few minutes walk to the river, lovely garden wine bar 5 mins walk
Maybe some floor coverings above to absorb the sound from people walking around it sounded like a dog pacing around at 4am, but in reality the occupants were probably using the toilet.

My husband and I loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening enjoying the view of the Castle. The apartment was a good size, lots of natural light and plenty of electrical outlets..
For all of the electrical outlets in this apartment there are only two in the kitchen and they are just above the stove.

1. Great Location - Bakery, Supermarket, Cochem city, castle and the river - all within walking distance
2. Well-maintained room
3. Mini kitchen
4. Flexible check-in time
1. Just one set of bath-towels given for 3 nights' stay
2. Shower was not easily adjustable between hot-warm-cool-cold water. It was just hot and cold. (Very minor)

Room was big and airy with lovely balcony looking back over houses to castle which towers above Cochem. Pretty flowers around windows made it very welcoming. Having a small kitchen area with hob, fridge and coffee maker off the room was fabulous.
10 min walk along river walk path into town. supermarket very convenient.
Nothing.

It was really nice to have an easy check in at any time of the day.
The room was spacious and nicely decorated. Everything looked fresh and new!
We had everything we needed for our stay.
The location was very convient, everything was close by.
A few things could be better..
1. The shower head just doenst fit right in its socket. It keeps hanging or shooting the streams to the wrong sides.
It wouldve been better if it the wire was a bit shorter, so it couldnt spin all sides.
2. The bathroom was very cold all the times, it was a big difference in temperature going from bathroom to sleeping room. You might use the heaters in the bathroom, but we didnt feel like we needed it. But it felt a bit strange..
3. Every morning everything was condensed, you had to use a towel on the doorhandle it was a bit strange?

Large room with small kitchen with the needed equipment.
Everything was organized and very clean.
Nice balcony with both castle and mountain view.
Grocery store very close.
Place to come back to!
No problem for us, but a small but nice walk from the center

Wonderful apartment, great location AMAZING Balcony with view of the Castle - spent hours sat out there in the sun, which was shining on it ALL DAY. Eating breakfast looking at Cochem Castle was such a treat.
The apartment was well equipped and the coffee machine was GREAT!
The owner is truly lovely and check in was faultless and well organised, especially with our late arrival - Nothing was too much trouble - Thank you
Being so close to a supermarket & little Bakery & café also made it perfect - Fresh bread every morning and easy to nip out & grab some bits if we fancied!
Maybe Air Con, but appreciate, that the weather was far more humid and warmer than we have ever experienced in the 6 years we have been visiting Cochem... So not an issue.
There really isn't much to improve on...!!!

Everything was perfect except the location.
Too far to walk to the castle under the burning sun.
