Good off season stay with heated pool and hot tubs overlooking the lake

We liked the heated pool and hot tubs looking over the lake. The staff was kind and welcoming. We also liked the free parking. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen in our suite was nice for making small meals.

The rooms were not very soundproof, and there was a lot of noise from the cleaning staff in the morning. The blinds in our room let a lot of light in, and we woke up with the sun. I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant, it was overpriced for the quality of the food.

Restaurant close Tuesdya and Wednesday, so you have to drive for breakfast somewhere else.

We will try and make this a yearly trip as this was our 2nd year doing this. Will do later in season

It was a good relaxing time to enjoy the room as the weather was not the best this year. It was very windy and chilly. We did enjoy the hot tubs though

Walnut Beach Resort ranked #1

This is my favourite place to stay in Osoyoos. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious. The ambiance and the layout is just right. The view is amazing. The pool is a delight. This is our 4th hotel stay in as many weeks and after I shared this gem as my favourite, my children ranked their stays in order and Walnut Beach came out on top! Yahoo!

Housekeeping knocking on my door when the Do Not Disturb sign was on the door at 8:45 AM asking if we were checking out today - then apologized for disturbing us when we said yes - but not until 11! I'm not sure why, but at least we got a good start to the day!

We loved every bit of it.

It was clean, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was nice and warm even in February.

Pool too loud with kids way too late.

Heated pool year round

Pool closed at 10pm. Too early. Also kids were in the pool until closing. There was no quiet time for couples to relax. About 4 separate couples we talked to this weekend felt very frustrated by this. Kids should have to get out of pool by 9 and pool open until at least 11pm

Excellent resort and would return for sure!

The outdoor pool and hot tubs were so nice and the view of the lake! The room was a good size and very comfy king bed.

The lights were too bright under the lounge chair area at night. Could be dimmed

it’s a lovely location, friendly staff, but the a/c was much too noisy

the private beach was fabulous. lots of chairs & inflatables to enjoy a dip in the lake, the location was quiet & the staff were very friendly & polite. the delivery of breakfast items was a great add on.

the room didn’t have any info/instructions on the stove top operation. and the tv remote was not behaving. the air conditioning unit in the room was very noisy & kept starting & stopping all night which destroyed a beautifully quiet room and any chance of a good sleep

Relaxing get-away to recharge and easily enjoy the facilities and easy access to all local amenities

The view from my room overlooking the north of Osoyoos Lake. The friendly staff. The kitchenette. The pool (nice and warm) and 2 hot tubs! The bath robes, the lounge chairs by the pool. The location - easy to walk to several places and safe sidewalks/paths for walking, running or cycling. The safe underground parking (no extra fees).

The weather...but you have no control over that! Everything was excellent. The restaurant was closed the 2 nights I stayed but that was okay as I brought my own food and ate at other places.
