Lovely location. Friendly staff.
Common areas are dirty and run down.
Restaurant is only so-so, echoey cafeteria-like.
Same minimal menu in both restaurants - come on, have some variety.
Rooms are like an old motor hotel from the 60's.
Charging $29 to watch a movie? Seriously? Why can't I stream Netflix on the TV's in my $400 room?
Parking for $30 a day? Seriously? Robbery.
So, basically, dirty, run down, and highway robbery.

Beautiful location and room. Exactly as expected. Expensive but worth it for an occasional splurge.. Will go again sometime.
Restaurant closes at 9. VERY limited late night menu

Beautiful view from room ! Lovely walking areas around golf course!
The hot tub was not clean-front end staff rectified situation quickly.
Gym could use updating.

Lovely building, with recent renovations, meeting space was great, bathrooms were clean and catered food was very good. Staff were lovely and responsive. Parking was easy. The room was bigger than expected with a kitchenette and separate bath tub and shower. The TV was huge!
The sheets were quite scratchy and the climate control very poor. The room was very warm (23°) and my only option was to turn the heat on/off, which is nearly useless in a long skinny room surrounded by other hot rooms. I couldn't turn on A/C in the winter months. I opened the doors all the way for hours to get it to cool to a temperature comfortable enough to sleep.

.
Only 1 dressing gown for 2 persons per room and no slippers at all. Not up to 5 star hotel standards. And this for all the 3 bedrooms I booked

Beautiful hotel up in the mountains. Chic hotel, very clean and classy. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The front desk manager Mark was amazing. He went above and beyond to help us out and made our stay an amazing experience.
How far the location is. It was nearly impossible to get an Uber or taxi. The hotel doesn't have a shuttle service which is unfortunate considering they're located secluded from everything. It took us over 45 mins to get a ride back to the hotel from the Stadium which is only 10 mins drive but over 1.5 hrs walk.

I thought that having to pay $25.00 for parking our car for the evening as a guest was a little in access.

It’s in a beautiful setting. Rooms are large. The restaurant has a gorgeous view and good service and food.
No free amenities even while being a guest- pool is $45 pp per day, tennis $15 pp (much more reasonable) but still not included. Golf is very expensive too. So to be up away from the city, despite its pretty setting, and charged for everything while being a guest is a major turn off. We’ve been here several times but don’t think we will stay there again because of this. Pillows were super soft, my neck hurt every day. Not the Westin pillows I’ve had in the past.

Staff was super friendly and not at all condescending as one often finds in resorts.
Paying for parking.

Sadly the hotel was bought from the developers and access to facilities such as swimming pool gym and a short pathway across to climb Mt Finlayson are charged at 45 cad per day
Restaurant a little sterile , we ate at Jacks grill across the road which was excellent and lively

The golf practice facility!
second year in a row had to complain about the breakfast. Same breakfast charged 2 different rates, toast comes as warm bread, lots of delays in serving the breakfast.

There is something to do for him and her. The Nicklaus design golf course to challenge his mind and body. The Amatista spa (Amatista Signature Treatment—I highly recommend) is for her to get a break from busy life and because she deserves a much needed pampering 😁. I have spent my birthday at Bear Mountain a few times. We have a few drinks in the bar/lounge, then order in and spend a wonderful evening in our suite/balcony with a few friends. I mean, just look at that picture. You can’t help but stop-and-stare while sipping whisky or wine.

It was magical. The ambiance, and decorations were perfect. We were in a totally different world.
The whole experience. From check in to check out, we felt we were the only ones there. It was all about us. The dining experience was exceptional.

The room was comfortable and spacious, and very clean. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.
I found the room doors to be very loud when closing, so I was woken up most mornings to the sound of doors slamming (pre 6am).
