Great location. Friendly staff. Good overall experience.
Super soft bed.

Location was good. Having to register first..THEN be allowed to park… SUCKED. MY car was stuck out in main traffic while we registered. It was VERY stressful. You need to fix that.
Registration was made very difficult due to no place to park while doing so. U need to warn people about this on your site.
NO AIR CONDITIONING! Not good. Room very stuffy. Crappy fans in room were noisy and didn’t help.

Sehr zentral gelegen. Zum kleinen Hafen mit den Waltouren oder auch zum Bus Richtung Swartz Bay nur 5 min zu Fuß. Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Zimmer ist sehr groß gewesen und Betten sehr bequem.

This hotel is central to anything you want in Victoria. It’s quiet, comfortable and clean. We loved it!
The workout room is more like a closet, the pool isn’t great but we weren’t there for those anyway.

We are a hiking group of 13. We all checked in together on 5/13/24. I am disputing the Canadian $184.44 "no show" charge because hiker M did show and was checked into room 327 by receptionist X at 11:47AM on 5/13/24.. I believe two mistakes by receptionist X caused the improper "no show" charge.
First mistake: When hiker M checked in at 11:47AM and presented her Visa card ending in 1215 she was checked into Hotel Acct # 909662001, room 327 apparently without connecting her to her Booking.com reservation #4122076140 which I had made for her. She subsequently on 5/16 paid for the three nights of 13, 14 & 15th in room 327 with the same Visa card ending in 1215.
Second receptionist mistake: Hiker M's check-out receipt does not show that she occupied room 327! The occupant is shown as hiker D, with my postal address. That is too strange as hiker D was booked in earlier at 11:24 by receptionist X into room 330 with her Visa Card and her correct postal address. How could hiker D, with only one room reserved (Bkg.com # 4197251778), be shown by receptionist X as the occupant of two different rooms?
I know that you feel the easiest way to a resolution is to deal directly with the hotel. I tried that and it obviously did not work. On 5/14/24 after receiving the "no show" notice for hiker M from Booking.com I went to receptionist X and explained all to him. I thought he understood and I expected that he would remove the “no show" charge from my bill.. But last week our AMEX statement arrived showing this charge.
Please credit CA$ 184.44. to my AMEX account.

Property is billed as having a Pub and 2 restaurants with a 25 % discount for occupants. There was neither a Pub nor a restaurant and the breakfast discount was only 15 % at a restaurant a couple of blocks away. The property is not accessible as there are stairs in the reception area. Luggage carts can only be used from the basement garage as they are not available at reception due to stairs.

The Quality Inn is a bargain for its location and the size and convenience of the rooms which in our case was two Queen size beds, a microwave, and a larger than usual hotel refrigerator, plus a small swimming pool. the staff were always friendly and helpful.
Well, it was a pity because of Covid-19 that the weight room was not open.

Good location. To downtown and places of interest
Housekeeping of the hotel have to be by request. Even if they had a card saying they’d clean the room one every three days, I was told that housekeeping had to make by request.

No complaints

Close proximity to downtown.
No cold water in lobby and vending machine was not working. First night was noisy due to road noise all night and loud stomping on ceiling starting at 6am.

The location is great!
It was more expensive than what I was told by Booking.com and even with my quote, they just spoke in circles about the costs and then said that there would be a refund after the price was adjusted but I still haven't received anything. It was super disappointing and I would have preferred not to be lied to and just told that the price had increased.

The staff were very helpful. They provided maps and very good directions to the local market. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The connected pub~Smiths, was quite good value.
the plumbing and the walls were very thin so when you went to the bathroom or had a shower, it was very loud. We heard
neighbours and they heard us! We could hear the next door's TV clearly and although they did turn it down on request, we could still hear everything. The market on Yates had everything you could possibly need and it ws only about 15 minutes walk away.

Dirty rooms, bathrooms smell fishy, broken door locks and other items in the room. The door in to the building from garage is not locked/broken. Anyone can walk in and take the elevator up to the rooms. Overall, terrible property. Location is the only thing going for this place.

Great location, quick and easy check in and out, nice and clean.
Elevator was very slow and very small (only stair access to go down but not up). Parking was an extra $12. Noise from the hallways radiates into rooms. Doors slam loudly. paper thin walls. Don’t book here if you want sleep. Beds need an update. Big dip in the middle.

Beds are to the firmer side even though they have a topper. Therefore, best hotel sleep i have had in a while. Also, they have normal pillows that can condense to a comfortable thickness.
The guests in the room above us were unbelievably noisy - a kids soccer team i think. And Friday late night people partying in the street was crappy. However, closing the window helped enormously.

Very noisy street sweeper and banging throughout the night. Slept poorly.

Easy access to everything and easy to talk to staff etc. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming.
Mostly just the bed was rlly uncomfortable, the rooms are very loud, can hear everything around you. We were warned that our dog would be an issue if it barked but there was a group next to us that was yelling in the hallway until 2am. They also tacked on extra fees we weren’t really expecting. Id called beforehand and asked if there was a deposit or anything like that for a pet friendly room and the person had said no, just included in the deposit cost for the room but it was actually $20 a day, for some reason they didn’t mention it. In addition, if you bring a car it’s another $12 a day. I ended up paying nearly $70 more and i was there on a budget anniversary trip so it was just a bit frustrating.
