The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room was a good size, very clean and comfortable. There were nice walking and running routes very close by.
The fridge in my room made enough noise to wake me up a few times during the night.

Ended up having unexpectedly having Breakfast at the location. Food and food offerings were excellent and an unexpected benefit. Staff was professional and helpful in all aspects. Well worth the 20% voluntary gratuity.
Entrance through no fault of the facility was under construction. Service and facilities more than made up for this temporary inconvenience. Have been elsewhere where such renovations "upgrades" have effected the whole demeanour of the property and services offered. Not so here!

It seemed like the sheets and bedding were fresh, based on a quick inspection, they smelt nice and clean too. The room didn’t have an odour, which was nice. And the air conditioning was very strong.
The price for what the accommodation is, is very high. We paid nearly $300 for one night (which was the cheapest option available), in a very small room, that we had to walk down a very long hallway to, through what seemed to look like a college dorm situation? Then up two floors of stairs, which was not mentioned anywhere on my booking. I was slightly inebriated after coming from a wedding, and this could have been potentially dangerous if I was alone. Thankfully, I wasn’t. But potential future guests should be mindful of this when booking. Back to the college dorm situation, I believe these rooms are renovated into hotel-esque rooms, but the hallways are eerie, and I felt like I couldn’t get to my room fast enough (noticeably aging building, kind of felt like an apartment building when going up the stairs and down the hall to my room, as opposed to a hotel).
The room itself was a bit moist from the humidity. You could feel the moisture in the carpet, which is why I was pleasantly surprised there was no odour. And there were a lot of dead bugs around. We found a dead bug in the washroom, splattered/smooshed on the wall (moquitos?) beside the bed, and on the window sill in the morning when we opened the curtains.
Lastly, the bed itself is is on a slight angle or something? I felt like my legs were on an upward slope, with my head being on the bottom, despite laying in the bed with the headboard behind us.
There is also only one side table, which isn’t a huge issue, but something to keep in mind for couples that book the room, and like to charge their phones or keep their phones close by to them. I’m probably just being picky at this point.
Honestly, it was fine for one night, but I wish I booked somewhere else, more high-quality for the amount of money that we paid. It would have cost only slightly more, if not the same, and we would have had a better experience.

The only thing good about this room was the bed
Rooms are old and outdated. Old carpet with stains all over the floor. The bathroom was “updated”. As soon as you walked into the room it smelled like an old cottage and library, mixed in with mold and mildew. Poor lighting in the room made it hard to get ready. No water provided. Definitely not on par with a hotel stay if any kind, and definitely not worth $300 per night. Toiletries are the lowest grade and on par with dollar store supplies. Fire alarm in our room went off in the middle of the night for no reason.

The staff was welcoming and courteous. The bedrooms and washrooms were clean and well stocked. The surrounding grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed a walk around.
Unfortunately the television didn't work, when we called the attendant she did all she could to repair it, however she couldn't fix it.

Staff were awesome and super helpful. Great location
Rooms a bit dated and could benefit from some loving touchups.
8.0
Quiet location, park land setting, helpful and kind staff, comfortable bed, windows that opened, nice bathroom
room was quite small & the heating system was on too high. I booked a "heritage room with park view" and I got a tiny room with a view of a shed and the road. Staff should have a scent free policy (men's cologne was very strong)

location excellent surroundings
