Location, beach, pool and bar area
Needs updating, at least where we were. A plastic cup stayed on the stairs going up to our room for four days. The walkway in front of our room needed sweeping and kept better. I don’t think our room was cleaned properly upon check-in. The floor was gritty and had to clean your feet from the beginning till the end. They did not clean our room at all during our four nights. There was one tiny trash can in the room, located in the bathroom. We had to empty ourselves everyday. We had to find housekeeping to swap out towels three days. I twice received text messages saying they tried to service our room but the do not disturb was out. We were there both times and when I asked what time, they said around nine. We were there and did not get up till nine. One day the housekeeping person knocked once and before I could get to the door she came barging in. I received a text on the third day thanking us for staying and to give a good review. I let them know we did not check out until the next day. They thanked me and said they would let whomever know. Upon checkout, the gentleman, I assumed a manager asked how things were. I replied all right I guess. He said tell me. I told him most people didn’t want to know or care. I told him what I have written here. He said he did care. I told him as a small business owner with 19 stores for 37 years, I always wanted to know as I could not fix what I didn’t know about. While I did not ask for anything, he said he was going to do something for me and help and asked if someone could call me. I said yes. I have not received a call so he must not have cared as he said.
We had stayed at a Kipton Hotel on Miami Beach three nights before arriving. The resort fee was waived in our deal and it was less expensive and was great.
Before the Kimpton we stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in Palm Bay and it was least expensive of all and was much nicer than Margaritaville Beach House.

The staff so friendly
The room are good but they need to take care of sugar ants.
4.1
Nice rooms, modern but comfortable resort without being too big. Reception lady very friendly.
Handy free shuttle bus into Duval area runs every hour.
The pool area felt a little neglected. Dirty cups, and need of general attention. Some construction going on on pool deck area which was coned off.
The bar staff in evening were not friendly and keen to push guests away early, felt unwelcoming, seemed poorly managed.

Location was great. Decent atmosphere. Shuttle was a plus.
Wasn't very clean. Ants were definitely a problem. Staff wasn't very pleasant or interactive. Linens were stained. For what I paid, I expected more.
4.1
Bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. Having a safe, ironing facilities, refrigerator and microwave was good. Beach is just across the road and a shuttle to downtown runs every hour and picks up downtown on the half hour from 9am to 11.30pm. We used this daily. Bikes are available for hire at the hotel also. Restaurant is excellent and so is the bar. Great staff. We had to stay an additional day at the hotel and they managed to keep us in the same room which was excellent.
The safe was not working on arrival, they were quick to attend to this however, the safe continued to show low battery every other day and so was frustrating having to sort this out, staff were quick to attend to. Also we experienced issues with the internet service, after the first 48 hours which is free you have to log on every day to use. Again sorting this out during our stay did eat into our time and was frustrating. The bathroom door handle was loose and came off, this was reported on the first day.

It was clean. Staff were accommodating and friendly. Shuttle was key to our experience. I will book here again. Beach across the street. Good food at Tin Cup. Pool is very nice.

Everyone was nice!
I had called and they told me there would be a manager calling me back about. When I reported there was a cockroach in our room the day that we left.. as much as we paid to stay there for 11 nights and 12 days I expect a phone call back in I did not get one yet and it’s disappointing because as much as it cost us that’s ridiculous. 419-969-0435

We loved the size of the room. And it had a great view and was very quiet. We ate at the hotel restaurant also and it was good.
4.1
The concierge was great, lots of tips on places to visit and good places to eat.
The only problem we incurred was another guest at the property left there dog alone in the room and it barked for hours on end.
4.1
Great location across from the beach
No balcony access in our room

Property and rooms very clean. Quiet in the rooms
To much chlorine in pool and food a little expensive.

The pool area and cute lobby area. Very cute decor and style throughout the property.
It felt too busy. The pool was way too hot in temperature to really enjoy. The place felt overpriced.

Room size and cleaniness.

The breakfast was exceptional. We also enjoyed the pool, the close beach, and the shuttle bus to the shops and restaurants.

We had a 2 bedroom King suite which was Floor 1. Room was clean, beautifully decorated and we had a mini kitchenette as well. Bathroom was big, shower was extra accommodating with great lighting. There really wasn't much room for clothes in the bedrooms but the oversized bathroom had plenty of shelves and drawers for belongings. Safe was much appreciated. The resort is pretty spread out. We ended up in the far end building so we had a walk to the pool but the grounds are beautiful and we didn't mind. Pool has lots of chairs and space. They have cold water available at poolside as well as bar service. Lots of games to play spread around and a whole list of activities every day. Fresh warm cookies every eve. We were greeted with a fresh margarita or guava juice. Shuttle down to the town was great. Puts you within a few blocks of the action and runs until 1130 pm. Getting an uber isn't hard either. Right across the street is the beach which is lovely. Beautiful views. It's rocky in places and a fair amount of seaweed kept us from going in, but plenty of people were in the water. The concierge was great! Lisa was able to give us tips, arrange parasailing, recommend dinner places and overall went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. Sonja at the front desk was awesome! Loved the games all over to play! Overall, you really feel like you are part of family here and that everyone cares about you and makes your trip comfortable and nice. Oversized TV's in our room were a treat! Definitely stay again.
While overall things were great I guess the things I found less than great were the following: Lighting in the hotel room/living room wasn't very bright. No overhead lights etc. Our view was supposed to be a garden view- but we were positioned facing the tiki hut thatched roof so we had no view at all. I would think you would get a discount for that. While you are right across the street from the beach, the resort is pretty isolated and you can't walk anywhere nearby for drinks, food etc. The menu at the hotel is pretty limited. While there is a gift shop, it would be nice to have a grab and go type food place in the hotel for a sandwich and quick breakfast.

Shuttle to downtown was convenient and the drivers were informative. Pool area was nice with shaded areas. Staff were pleasant .Our king suite was very nice. Mimi was very helpful finding us a new room. Ability to use the property after checkout was helpful with a late flight.
Did not realize music is played all the time. We left pool area to get away from it. Housekeeping was haphazard when it came to linens. Given a towel with red stain, dinghy washcloth, no face towels in one room. We had to change rooms because the elevator near our room made a screeching sound that woke my partner.
