What a great location turning south to the keys.
It was like a place no longer cared for taken over by investors milking the life out of the place.

old, smelly, dirty….our feet were black from walking on the carpet

The price was right and in general the staff were nice. There was one woman that was a jerk, but it happens, it wasn't outrageously expensive, and it was close to my brother and his family.
There was cockroaches in our room, there were sugar ants in our room, getting our room made up was hit or miss, the there was a light socket that didnt have enough power to charge a US cellphone, tiles were broken an sticking up on the walkway, one of the lights the switch was broken, the carpet was filthy (our feet would be black when walking barefoot on it), the toliet leaked on us (they did immediately fix it), and the room keycard kept breaking on us. We weren't told to keep the room key in the envelope that it came in until the last day. Supposedly the envelope protected the key. It would be a wonderful place if they overhauled the entire hotel. I know there was an overhaul in 2005, but either they did a horrible job, or they only did a certain area.
About the cockroaches and ants. I grew up in the city next to the city that this hotel is in. I'm no stranger to cockroaches or ants, but we rarely had cockroaches or ants in the house. My parents sprayed around the perimeter of the house often and bug bombed the house often also.

Nice, upscale location, if you need to be in that part of the city. Good pool area. Ample room space.
Quite old and tired looking facility. Pricey

I really liked how clean it was , and also the pool area was really nice , staff was friendly, and I slept great no loud noise or people around, house keeper was friendly and helpful
I really didn't like how the parking is set up, it's so far away from the rooms , also try not to bring too much luggage because they have no elevator we had to make 2 trips it was horrible because our room was all the way in the back

Great location
Beds can be more comfortable. We were three guess in a four guess room but it wasn't enough towels and air conditioning was a
noisy.

Yogurt and granola bars were available, but we didn't partake. It was nice that they offered something though.
There could have been upgrades done to the property, it seemed to be the same since the 90s. Also wish that a small fridge came standard in all rooms.

Location
Very outdated and smells terrible.

Property easy accessible, although dated, clean rooms and friendly staff.
Outdoor watste cans need to be monitored better so as too prevent overflowing and waste being stacked around the cans.
