beautiful lobby and very cute neighborhood

TV Was broken. Soap dispenser was not filled. No one came to fill it despite two requests. The do not even tidy up the rooms, meaning they do not restock the coffee in the room that you used and they do not replace dirty mugs etc. I do not want new towels or sheets and understand that is wasteful but this seems crazy. Also the room had a loud "jet engine" sound about every 20 minutes as i was trying to fall asleep each night. room was very small.

A comfortable, unique stay

My husband and I did a weekend getaway at this hotel. The room was comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was plentiful, and we liked that the hotel was in walking distance to downtown Lancaster. There was a lovely staircase that provided easy access to any floor in the hotel without needing to use the elevator.

What a Gem!

This hotel was perfect. The room was huge. It has a sitting area, nice size bathroom and roomy shower. The room had a jacuzzi tub. We did use this but it was a nice feature if that is what you like. The hotel offered comfortable robes and slippers. The breakfast was good. They offered many items and was perfect for an included breakfast. The artwork throughout the hotel was beautiful. You can even purchase the pieces. The lobby was comfortable and the bar was nice to get a drink after a long day of walking the city. I would definitely stay again.

There was nothing to not like. The restaurant could open earlier but other than that the hotel was a great choice.

Love it here! My go to for visiting my son and his family in lancaster.

The convenient parking garage, location to restaurants, services, family, entertainment And other places of interest. Greeted with friendly, patient, efficient and informative staff member. Cozy, charming hotel, room, dining with many considerate amenities in the room and throughout the hotel. A rose and chocolate for our room! Friendly hotel employees. Lovely garden in dining outdoor setting. Safe, clean and quiet!

Great experience in a clean and unique hotel. We would recommend.

we thought that the hotel was well-maintained and really neat how they refurbished an old tobacco factory. Original bricks and flooring made it really feel unique. it was a good experience, and we would definitely consider returning.

Great place to stay - original artwork makes it memorable!

Breakfast was much better than average - good variety. Hotel was very distinctive, also quite better than average.

I had to use the blanket - it could have looked less worn… also, the rooms could use better lighting - quite dark with all the lights on .

A unique hotel with local amenities and close to things to see.

We loved having the facilities at the YWCA across the road. We used this every day and met local folk there who were friendly and gave us tips on what to see and do in the area. Pool and gym were available.

Peaceful and inspiring, just didn’t like my room specifically

this is my go to spot and has been for years. love the atmosphere, staff is always so friendly and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. walking distance to everything your heart desires and anything further can be delivered. love the art work. this is my place to get some inspiration when my painting is lacking

I stayed in a different part of the hotel recently, room 216. I unfortunately did not like it compared to my other stays. room was dated, lots of dust. sheets were ripped in some spots and the bed had me itching all night. The maintenance room across the way door stayed open and it was very noisy at some points. I also had problems with my own door as it needed some force to shut and lock it. I also didn’t get my rose and candy but I saw others did. next time I will for sure ensure I’m closer to the rooms with exposed brick. they always seem cleaner and I never had issues with the bed or sheets before. I will still be back soon.

Relaxing, clean, unique, and comfortable. We would go back

We loved the breakfast!! The food was healthy and it was included in room price. We got to sit on the patio and the vib ewas Italian feel with beautiful flowers. We also loved the room itself. We stayed in a suite and it was huge. The furniture was all real wood and had the right mix of modern industrial romantic mixed with Dutch country hand made furniture. There was also a sketch pad with pencils in our room for our little one to draw. This hotel is unique. You can submit your heartwork and they hang it on the wall and there are books of previous artwork in the lobby of tourists from decades past.

The only thing we didn't like was that the bar closed so early. We checked in at 8pm after a long day of Amish country tourist walking. We just wanted a beer but the bar was closing...At 8pm on a Sunday. But it looked beautiful.

A bit disappointing this time.

For our needs, the location is extremely convenient. We have stayed here whenever we visit the Lancaster area.

There was no room or bathroom cleaning during our two day stay. We were not informed of this on check-in, but did see a sign in the elevator blaming that on Covid. The room would only be cleaned upon request with 24 hrs notice. Also, the mattress on one of the two queen beds was lumpy on one side and had a deep depression in the middle.

Friendly staff!

Cool, clean hotel with a very friendly staff. We mentioned in passing that it was our anniversary when checking in. While we went out to dinner the staff left a rose and chocolates in our room. I thought it was a nice and surprising gesture.

Beautiful hotel with a very nice and responsive staff

The feel of the whole hotel is very warm and comfortable. Loved the art throughout and enjoyed seeing amateur art in the elevator. Fun surprise to see a sketch pad in the room. Room: bed was comfortable and room was clean and nicely appointed. Turn down service is available. We were missing tissue in the room and the staff was quick to remedy.
