The property is very nice, there is a lake, you can swim, kayak, walk in the wood.
The chalet was charming, bavarian style, very much wood, nice decoration. Very clean.
There is a place most for people who have dogs, we had cats, and they stayed only inside.
The host is not very good with customer service and not very nice. One time, she hung up on me. She doesn't spike french only english so is a little difficult to communicate if you spike french. When I wanted my receipt for my partial payement, she send me a message on my cell containing a link but the link was not fonctionning, so I asked for my receipt by e-mail and her response was that I gave an "fake number". It was very insulting and disrespectfull. I didn't give a fake number, it was correct my number, it was the link she send that was not fonctionning.
The bed is little.
You can have the keys only at 5 pm.

The fact that my dog was able to run freely.
We missed the shower. Having a bath was difficult and risky for a senior.

The location was easy to find and accessible. The forest/lake setting is very relaxing with groomed trails for dog walking in the area. Access to amenities and skiing are ideal for the Tremblant area. Our suite was very comfortable and preferred choice to dine in both evenings.
The driveway was icy though sand had been been spread. Difficult to manage/ control as weather gradually changes.

Pet Friendly
Although the email we received from the owners stated that we had to bring our own comforters and blankets, this should not have been the case. Who travels with comforters and blankets? We were told that this was due to the cleaning requirement from COVID measures. They could provide them but at a $25 cost. This makes me wonder if the comforters were re-used before COVID. What is the difference between cleaning the sheets and providing them and not the comforters and blankets? We travelled extensively during COVID and this is the first time this has happened. It just seemed that at every corner they were nickel and diming us due to COVID. One small piece of soap provided in the bathroom, preferred email transfer for payment to avoid Visa/MC fees. At times showed attitude as if we were asking too much not to use their method of payment. We don't normally say this, but we will not be back.

This is a dog's paradise. Your furry friend is free to explore the property off leash, swim in the private lake, and meet other dogs and play. There are many trails for you and your dog to roam. The concept is brilliant. For the humans visiting Domaine Summum, the cabins are clean and very pretty. We stayed in the double cabin which is joined by a shared hallway. However, you can access your cabin unit by a private side door and park your car right outside. This is good for easy loading and unloading of the car. The cabins are quite large inside so there was a lot of space. Dishes, cutlery, bedding, towels provided. There is a clearing with chairs around a fire pit if you wanted a camp fire at night. Mont Tremblant is a short drive away. We will be back!

We appecitated the welcome by the host, Birgit, as well as all the little dog friendly details and cute signs alng the property. Our favorite parts were the really beautiful lake view, the outdoor firepit, the nicely equipped dock areas and most of all, the forest paths where our little city doggo could practice walking off leash and being a real dog! The hiking trails were truly magical, especially in the fall with all the beautiful colors. We were also very close to the Sepaq hiking trails and 6 minutes from many grocery stores, so we took advantage of the proximity to other sites as well as the amenities for staying in and cooking a nice meal to enjoy with the sounds of the outdoors. We
Offering to purchase wood or basics like coffee onsite would have been nice. The bed was a little too firm, but I suppose that's a matter of taste. Otherwise, we really didn't have much to complain about!
