Amazing property. The gardens, pool, spa, rooms… awesome

The grounds were so beautiful especially the Monet Gardens right across the street. We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary and when we arrived at the room their Eason ice a sparkling bottle of Rose. For turn down service I came back to a rose on my bed. Nice touches. The food was also delicious
I could hear the other room when they used the toilet or washed their hands. It was loud almost to the point that I thought we left the water running in our bathroom.

We didn't use the pool because it was closed a lot of the time due to issues with storms and hail damage. Didn't use the spa for the same reason. The room was comfortable, clean and would recommend this facility.
The room could have been bigger and a little more counter space in the bathroom. Otherwise the room was great.

Beautiful garden outside
Pool was closed- the sole reason for booking. No compensation was provide. They offered “free cancellation” after driving 3 hours to get there.

Friendly, comfortable, lots to do in nice weather and rainy weather.
Can be crowded on weekends. Lots of noise outside our room (first floor by outdoor pool).

My room was cozy with a fireplace and a comfortable chair for reading, and I slept well. I was on a "writing" holiday and the library area was a wonderful spot for working. I also took walks in the garden area across the street. One evening was a bit chilly and I enjoyed the outdoor fire pits.

it’s beautiful and charming

The place is beautiful and the spa is gorgeous. I would return just for the spa and nothing else.
The power went out in the morning and the breakfast served was not worth the $50 charge. We essentially paid for eggs and juice. There was no compensation and the power was out for over 2 hours by the time we left.

The room was beautiful and spacious I loved having a jacuzzi in the room as well as a fireplace and sitting area. The day at the spa was amazing! Martha gave me a massage that was out of this world and I had a facial with Yvonne. I loved being in the hot springs at night while it was snowing. t was the most relaxing trip I've had in years and will be back soon.

we enjoyed the pools and spa
I wish it was more obvious that our rooms had an exterior entrance. this would have been important because we came in winter and it is very much a maze of rooms

We really enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and the Hot Springs. We are not winter people. Discovering this place will make winters more enjoyable
Would have been nice to have Netflix available in the room!

We loved our stay at Pillar and Post and can't wait to go back. Our dinner at The Cannery was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We enjoyed the outdoor pool immensely.
Nothing, we loved everything!

Indoor and outdoor pools and hot springs. Bar and snacks were good
I booked a Superior Queen room and there was no way that it had a queen bed-- double for sure
It was room 103. I have been there numerous times and enjoyed the facilities. This time was a HUGE disappointment!!
If I book a Sup.Queen room that is what I should get. $300 for that room is disgusting--I will not be doing it again!
Also,15 minutes in the Hot Springs is not good. The excuse of Covid is lame at best. No reason to limit the time. Covid is not time sensitive- 8 people 15 min. or 8 people 30 min. no difference. Sadly I may not be a returning Guest

The staff was kind, room quite spacious, very good towels, spa area was not bad. The restaurant is amazing for portions and taste!
I liked the idea of the virtual concierge on my smartphone.
The spa does not have a steam room, which I personally like.
There should be a water dispenser in the spa area.
The TV in the room was not a smart TV with options to connect to Netflix, Prime etc.
I ordered extra water and coffee through my virtual concierge but I never got them.

Was here for my friends wedding. The rooms were clean, beds very comfy and the pool/hot tub and spa facilities were wonderful. Definitely a deserved restful stay.
The wedding dinner was delicious (beef with caramelized onions). I could have eaten 2.
My diet is restricting, and wasn’t quite sure the ingredients in the pear garden salad with walnuts, but I risked it and was ok. Tasted good.
The gardens across the street for the ceremony were stunning. I have a landscaping business and thought the workmanship and maintenance was really well done.
The grooms ready room was great too since the rooms weren’t ready yet.
I would recommend having a washroom with a shower nearby so people can freshen up before putting their suits on.
I decided to go for a hot tub before, so I was able to use the change room facilities which were nice and clean.
Beautiful old building and decor. I admired the timber trusses as I am studying architecture.
Staff were very nice and accommodating.
Can’t thing of anything.

This resort is exceptional, we stayed here for a little honeymoon getaway after our wedding and it was just what we needed. Such a beautiful and relaxing resort, everywhere you look is stunning! The staff is very friendly and helpful, always someone on-hand to help out. Our room was beautiful, with the comfiest king size 4-poster bed. The facilities are amazing - the outdoor pool and sun deck area is wonderful (open early AND late, which is great!), the spa and hot springs were out of this world and so romantic! Make sure to also walk the gardens across the street and have a drink at the Outpost. The food here is also amazing, we didn't have a single 'bad' thing - the crab cakes in particular are WOW, a must try! We loved our stay here so much, and only should have booked longer. Highly recommend! It is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of NOTL.
My one small complaint is that the Cannery breakfast buffet menu advertised eggs benedict, my favourite - so we went there for breakfast for that reason. However at breakfast we were told that it is not offered, so that was a bit disappointing (we would have gone somewhere else). But the made-to-order waffles and omlettes were great, breakfast was delicious and plentiful!
