Bien pour faire des activités sur sandiego mais ne donne pas envie d’y rester pour la journée.

Proche de tout ( super marché et autre pour le shopping) idéal pour faire legoland et le zoo sans trop de route à faire.

Pas de fenêtre non ouvrable Porte de la salle de bain défectueuse ( elle bloque) 418 Le personnel de chambre ne répond pas au bonjour…

Wouldn’t return or recommend

Undergoing major renovations and was not notified. Had called property several weeks before stay to ensure washer/dryers on site and was confirmed. When got to property they were not able to be used bc of construction. Didn’t get service on our room, they tried at 445 pm after we had just returned from fields all day trying to shower. You have to pay 12$ per day for parking—there was a homeless guy in the underground garage smoking out of a bong. The property was not worth the $. You can get way nicer places for same $

Nice stay but wait until remodel is complete

Very nice breakfast with a variety of options (oatmeal, eggs, potatoes, sausage, yogurt, fruit, waffles, & different breads). It was nice to see the type of potatoes, eggs, & sausage changed daily. Room was very comfortable and I liked that we had a walk-in shower rather than a shower in a tub. Location was also very nice in that it was right near the freeway, which made getting places really easy. The staff were in general very nice and tried to help where they could.

As others have noted, it is disappointing to have to pay separately for parking. I could care less if the room price were bumped up by $12/night but it bothers me to see it separate on the bill. Though they are in the middle of a remodel, that wasn't much of an issue, though it may have contributed to the uncomfortably warm room temp in the breakfast area. The separate charge for parking, remodel, & warm breakfast room are the reason for the 8 vs 10 on my rating.

Very comfortable

Breakfast was excellent. There was a nice selection of food available.

Provide free parking for guests. The lobby was being remodeled so there was a temporary check-in table. The table had room for two clerks but was staffed by only one. It took a half hour to check in.

Would probably stay here again.

Easy access to freeway. Clean rooms, being renovated.

Even though parking was only (!) $12 a night, compared to other hotels, parking used to be free. Most people have cars, and if we’re already paying to stay, why tack on another cost?!?!

Lovely reception and comfortable bed; just fine for an overnight stay after I had helped my daughter move to San Diego.

I got a room on fourth floor; updated and spacious. Very clean. Bedding was a bit peculiar, I could not quite tell whether the coverlet was more a sheet, the comforter seemed to sit loose inbetween a sheet and a coverlet

Walls not very thick, you hear every door close on the hall, you can hear tv in next room. However, everyone was very respectful and quiet on the whole.

The room was serene, clean, conveniently situated near restaurants, and managed by a friend staff.

The room at Hampton Inn offered a peaceful retreat, boasting tranquility, cleanliness, and a prime location not too far away from numerous restaurants. Despite ongoing upgrades on the upper floor, the ambiance remained undisturbed, complemented by the warmth and helpfulness of the friendly staff.

The temperature of the water was not cold enough.

Good staff good stay

The shower in our room was faulty and we were upgraded to a newly remodeled room. That was an amazing move from the staff. The gentleman eningeer who came to look at the shower was wonderful as well. LIZ was so kind and helpful she made our stay at the hotel feel so warm. She's amazing and needs to be promoted!! I would definitely come back because she made our stay worth it.

I didn't like that the hotel charges daily parking fees I that was pretty dumb considering I've never been to any hotels that do that. Also the room we stayed in the first time before being upgraded had a lot of hair and dust they probably didn't clean well. The breakfast lounge wasn't big enough and had people standing looking for seats for too long.

strong smell of sulfate in room causes headache & nausea

The room smelt like sulfate so bad that we had to move rooms. The smell made me extremely nauseous and gave me a headache. We moved from a king suite into a double-double room (so much smaller) due to no other king suites being available. Also, on our first night I was called at 1:30am by the front desk telling me that my vehicle was left running. When got out of bed to check it wasn’t my car. They should write down license plate numbers or have a better system so things like this don’t happen.

A great stay with friendly staff.

The room I stayed in on the third floor was a peaceful retreat, offering a lovely view that provided a moment of respite from the daily hustle. It was remarkably quiet, with no disruptions from neighboring rooms, creating an ideal space for studying without distractions. The serene ambiance of the room allowed for focused and productive study sessions, making it a comfortable and conducive environment to achieve academic goals.

The temperature of the water was not cold enough.

It was a good value for what I spent.

The location was good. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

The breakfast had limited seating. Had to ask front desk for towels. There was not a hot tub with the pool.

Very convenient location, staff were all friendly and outgoing, the free breakfast was a better selection that expected. Warm welcome for our pup.

I wished the room had two chairs so it was easier to eat in our room, there was one table in the lobby for people to use, but the dining area is off limits after breakfast.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great.

My one disappointment was being hit with a $12/night charge to park my car in the hotel parking lot. Such a charge felt petty and had never been mentioned when I booked the hotel. I was very happy checking into the hotel until I was informed of this extra price. It made me feel resentful and tricked. It is standard for a traveler to rent a car to travel to their hotel and beyond. This was like being charged to breathe the oxygen in the hotel.

Great hotel

The staff was very friendly. The hotel and our room was very clean. Our room was very nice and spacious. They served a good breakfast. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The texts from the staff during my visit. If was a little annoying that the staff texted me a few times to ask about my visit.
