Excellent value in the heart of Jasper!

It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable and it was so quiet while being a short walk to shops and restaurants. The host was super welcoming and friendly. The shower was awesome. We will return!

Beautiful place to stay.

We loved our stay at Fitzhugh Guest House. The room was perfect. It was comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The place was tastefully decorated and it was spotless. Location was perfect, a short stroll to the shops and there was plenty of parking out the front.

The Fitzhugh House was one of the highlights of our vacation to the Canadian Rockies!

The Fitzhugh House definitely exceeded our expectations. The accommodations were immaculate, comfortable, and charming. The kitchen area offered everything we could possibly need. The bathroom was spectacular - modern, with fantastic shower! - and the beds were so comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional

Guest room was cosy, clean and comfortable. Location was excellent, short walk to town and access to many sights nearby. Quiet area. Easy self check in if you aren't able to get there on time to greet the hosts. Communication easier great from the hosts.

Only point for improvement would be a mirror in the bedroom

I would definitely stay there again!

It was perfect for our needs. The room and bathroom were very well equiped--frig, microwave, very comfortable bed, nice TV, toiletries, plenty of towels, and the room was very nicely decorated. Patti, the owner, checked in with us to be sure we had everything we needed. On top of that, you are only 5-10 min from town.

The window was small but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room.

Comfortable with plenty of information prior to arrival from owners which made it easy. Rooms fully functional with ever

close to town and away from train noise.

rooms are private, comfortable and clean but In the basement of the home with little window for ventilation. I wouldn’t want to stay In summer and if you’re older or can’t manage your bag with stairs look elsewhere. Expect a B&B stay with owners upstairs, not a hotel experience. A kitchenette is provided so it would be wonderful if owners gave an option of providing a small continental breakfast or a bit of cereal/toast to help travellers on their way for early departures. Nothing opens early in Jasper.

Very good

The room was very clean. The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is in a wonderful spot. One of the most beautiful locations in the world.

No air conditioning......This was an issue. The room was a bit small. We felt crowded and stuffy. Rooms are downstairs in the basement. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. Like everywhere in this area, the cost for the night was overpriced.

Nice stay poor welcome.

Met the owner at check in, he told us all the information we needed but was not too welcoming and we did not see him or any staff member again during our 6 night stay. Room was clean on arrival, wifi was good. A huge bonus was watching a mother Black Bear and her cub eating fruit in a tree across the road for nearly 2 hours one morning.

Perfect BnB to stay un Jasper

- Clean - Comfortable - Spatious - Modern - Secure - Basic products available, including coffee - Very nice hosts - Easy to park up front (and free) - Very close to restaurants, shops etc.

A stove would have been nice, even a small portable electric one

Value for money, cozy space, well thought out room

Huge space, bathroom was spacious, shampoo and makeup wipes were a lovely bonus, as was coffee in the room. Really clean and had room for us to spread out our camping gear to re-pack.

An attractively decorated dungeon.

It has clean, attractive and fashionable decorating and furnishings.

It was a small room in the basement of a house, with one tiny window with a view only of nothing but the window well’s sheet metal liner. There was a lot of noise from upstairs and the other suites (2 other suites in the basement). We could hear noise from televisions until after midnight. Other guests leaving at 6:45 woke us, not because they were especially noisy but because of the lack of sound proofing (when I turned the lights out in bed, I could see light all around the door.) The bathroom was nicely finished but the shower was very slippery; it is a safety hazard. Also, there is no independent temperature control in the room, (although there was a space heater in the closet).

Great spot good value

This is a great room in a perfect walkable location. For skiers there is a locker. The owner helped us with an issue regarding the outside door and was very helpful.
