sorry but reading the glowing reviews about the motel I couldn’t help but be dissapointed

location to downtown and restaurants good room and bathroom had some updated items bathroom looked newly renovated you could tell the owners have tried to update rooms and keep them attractive and clean frig ,microwave and coffee maker in room automatic locking outside doors with card entry

tv was non viewable and should have been replaced which the owners said they would take care of once notified pump bottle of body lotion in shower no other bathroom amenities rooms very very small not much room to navigate small but adequate noisy fan for air circulation traffic noise if you’re a light sleeper

Very good

Excellent location right off the highway and close to the centre of town. The room was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and willing to accommodate any request.

Very nice stay in a quaint little motel.

The owners were the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet, very accommodating. Room was extremely clean. Coffee pot, coffee, tea kettle and television with cable TV were a bonus.

We love that the room has a little kitchen area, an awesome modern Desk and is located in a great area

the only thing We didn’t enjoy was the carpet, room 7 is our favourite!

Amazing little motel. Exceptionally clean and very cozy. Highly recommend to everyone.

Excellent place to stay and staff are very friendly 🙂

we love it here, it’s super cozy, you have everything you need for a weekend away! small plaza directly across the street, close to the boat harbour and beach. Excellent opportunity for some amazing photos

The carpet was really old, I would suggest an upgrade on flooring 🙂

Loved it, already booked for next year!

There was no breakfast but the Motel is close to all activities we were interested in including great eateries. We were in Goderich for the Celtic Festival and were able to walk to the festival, farmers market and flea market and to eat.

Following Covid closures is a trying time and a hard act to follow. The host admitted at our arrival they had no chambermaids. Many establishments were still closed or had limited hours due to lack of employees. She even escorted us to our room which was spotless and the beds were comfortable.

The heating and air conditioning unit is quite loud.

The owners of the motel are amazing and really aim to please. The location is perfect. Good use is made of the space in the room

Location was fantastic, room very clean and had what we needed. Good value.

The mattress should be upgraded. I didn't get sore on it, lights too bright in room, and no good reading lights. One switch worked all the lights.

A friendly family business in a family-friendly town

Our second time here, and the new owners, a lovely family in their own right, are carrying on the well established family-friendliness that attracted us here in the first place. The other guests seem consistently to be reasonable, responsible people in Goderich to enjoy recreation and summer fun…

You won’t find much to do on the property itself if you don’t bring it with you … but it’s the perfect headquarters and launch pad for seeing the area.

Great Place but…

The place was good, excellent location and the was clean.

Our only issue was that the air conditioner was so loud that it woke us up and kept us awake. We ended up turning off the A/C and opening the windows.

Great place for a short stay in Goderich!

Very conveniently located close to the restaurants and downtown, but right next to a busy street. The owners organized a complementary breakfast for Canada day, which was a very nice surprise!

Great location . Nice little motel only 11 rooms . Updated and very clean . Every room is equipped with refrigerator , microwave , coffee maker . Noticed that the shampoo, soap & lotion supplied locally nice touch .

Cheap and cheerful!

Really lovely staff. Simple but clean suites with a nice attention to detail. An excellent location. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay.
