provided our own breakfast
Everything good, liked the table and chairs outside and the surroundings,
better tasting water, micro wave in an awkward place. TV hard to work, trouble finding the channels/programs I wanted. Problem with the shower

This is a "do it yourself" cabin. We brought food with us. Coffee on site. Service for two. Double bed, Open room with small table, two chairs, couch and extra chair. The owner was concerned that the cooling/heating system did not work, so was generous and gave us discount. However, we hope it is fixed. Very clean. Lots of windows, deer on the lawn grazing. Yes, we'd return. if plumbing fixed. Easy access to the sea and roads to the hiking trails.
The plumbing needs to be replaced, particularly the toilet. Clean but just old.

Quaint little cottage. Very cosy and very clean. We will definitely come back.
Not having a dish washer, but it wasn't a big deal.

My stay was exceptional and I appreciate that Heather upgraded me to a nicer "queen suite". The property is immaculate thanks to Fred who maintains a pristine property ... and Carina who welcomed me and shared lots of great tips and sights to see around the island. I will be back for sure! Thank you for a lovely 3-night stay!
The "queen" suite is advertised as having a "sea view" ... but it doesn't have a sea view ... it has a "top of the ferry boat" view when the ferries travel by ... but the suite itself doesn't have a sea view. This, however, isn't a problem as there is a very cute seating area on the property that has a lovely sea view!

The perfect location, the lovely cottage and the helpful.owner, Heather
Would have liked a full fridge. It was difficult to keep food frozen in the very small fridge provided.

It was great for our family wedding - drinks on the lawn in the afternoon, coffee in the morning.

Heather was great. Very friendly, helpful and lovely. Liked the idea of separate cabins. Nice grounds, beautiful trees. liked how parking was close to our cabin.
Rat poo on the bed…no black out blinds, or curtains…no bug screen on window so bugs fly in…very noisy, right in road with street traffic... heard the pub bus twice during the night/ noisy people getting off the bus. Do not offer travel bassinet for baby but also do not advertise that accommodation is not suitable for babies. it is not. location isn’t very walkable.

We are satisfied with location, space, most facilities. Better to have 2 bedrooms. The detail is not clear when ordering. I need two beds. My understanding is two bedrooms. However, it is still nice resort. The surrounding is perfect.
TV is too small.

Location was excellent! Peaceful, quiet and we had snow on the ground with nice sunny days. The wood fireplace was nice in the evening.
Beds were comfortable but were not big enough.

It re,minded me of the song In An English Country Garden with all of the birds flittering about.
I also expclted to see the characters from Winnie The Pooh traipsing up the walk while I was out om our deck.
I also gave you an excellent review in Travelocity.
Thayt we had to come home so soon .Next time it will b e for as few days longer.

We managed to find this cabin last minute for a friends wedding on Galiano, and were blown away by how homely and well kept the property is. It truly felt like we were welcomed into someone's home. The property manager was very accommodating with our requests, and was super responsive. Cheers!
Nothing, the property was great, especially for the price!

We stayed in “Deer Cottage” or #11, a “studio” with a bed, table and “alcove” mini-kitchen in one room with a woof-burning stove, as well as an attached private bathroom. The studio shares a wall with another studio and is close to the road, but it was very quiet in the evenings and at night. Driftwood Village is just a few kilometres from services like the bakery, restaurants, stores and the ferry terminal, but was quiet (in mid-September) and also close to lovely destinations like Bellhouse, Bluff and Montague Parks.
The studio suite was the least expensive option and it seemed small when we arrived, but it was a warm and comfy place during a wind and rain storm. Glad we were not in a tent!

It was clean, quiet and loved all the bird activity

It is close to the ferry terminal, which means you can get there without a car. There are a few viewpoints/trails that are close by. The towels are very soft.
There weren't any staff on site during the entire stay. They were impossible to reach - we called several times to several different phone numbers, but none of them called back. We had almost given up on check-in, as we were not given any information. We got in accidentally, when we tried opening the door to our room to find it unlocked, with the keys on the table. It also looked like the place was not thoroughly cleaned - dusty, and full of cobwebs.

The place was as advertised
My boys went instead of the Uncle who could not go and maybe because of their age the woman did not treat them very nicely at all. They did not feel welcome at the place and it was April and nothing much to do and they ended up leaving early.

delightful cabin. solitary situation which we were looking for.
looking out the window and seeing the ferries passing by was a delight
Found the tv screen to be too small
