•Location is great! Short walk to Parliament Hill and Byward market. (4 or 5 blocks;)
•Super easy check in and check out.
•Kitchen and bedroom in suite...that was a first for us, and we stay at hotels every summer.
•Pool area needs more chairs/tables.
•Rooms should have a pen and paper.

This hotel is nothing fancy but it’s perfect for a stay in Ottawa if you are not looking for anything too high level.
The location is perfect in downtown at walking distance from everywhere.
The room is basic but fonctional. Old carpet, basic bathroom…. But you have everything you need. Swimming pool included and parking (very practical) for 37$.
Staff helpful and smiling!
Nothing to complain. Again, if you are looking for a fancy hotel, you may want choose another option.

We had our own little apartment in our room it was totally awesome!
The old fashion keys were interesting but really no complaints.

the staff are very friendly.
the rooms are well sized and the bed is comfortable but needs additional pillows.
it’s very dated.
if I’d visited in the early 90’s I’d have been happy, but it desperately needs bringing into the 21st century.

I liked the pleasant and helpful front desk staff. She was able to troubleshoot our issue when my vehicle didn’t fit in the underground garage and get us routed to the higher door. She was also able to recommend a fabulous family restaurant nearby.
Our room didn’t have an ice bucket. But we made due. Using the fridge instead

Conveniently located for our trip.
Parking was extremely overpriced and you had to pay additional (higher than normal) for charging an EV. Site charges for cleaning which was not identified at booking (again this was very high).

Loved the accommodating staff and the spaciousness of the room and location. The price was great!

Location. Lots of space.
Slightly old feeling decor.

The location was good.
The hot tub didn't work. The a/c was pathetic. The tv had few channels.

Best location! Just a couple minutes walk from Somerset Village, Rideau Streat, ByWard market...
The hotel is extremely clean and the pool was perfect for our little family on a rainy afternoon.
Mattresses and pillows are not comfy. Don`t book this hotel if you need to run a marathon the day after.

its close to everything
I booked 2 rooms about 4 months ago and i requested a connecting room or 2 adjacent rooms, we didnt get either but worst we were told one room got flooded so we were put on the 4th floor while the rest of our family is on the 2nd floor. Then
one lady at the front wasnt very nice and accommodating at all.

Location was close to restaurants, pubs, stores. Room was generally quiet.
Booked for 2 queen bed, got a queen bed & sofa bed. Sofa bed was not comfy. Lighting could of been brighter, especially in the washroom.

Good location and the room size is quite big, with a living room and a kitchen.
The decoration and facility are out of date, but it is still worth the money.
