The smell of glue compound in the hallway. Very strong and gave us headaches

the bed was comfortable.
not family/stroller friendly, no elevator to second floor. room was not clean, had wrappers and hair from someone else in the room when we got in.
lady that checked us in was not friendly and actually somewhat rude.

We did get a room on the ground floor, we had prerequested this but we're told it wasn't available upon checking in. When we said we were there for 4 nights they found one for us.
So many children running around, riding small tricycles in halls, taking trays of food from the cafeteria, coming more than one time.

Nothing good to say at all.
NO POOL!!! We booked here specifically FOR THE POOL and after a 10-hour drive, arrived to an empty pool and a rather worn, dilapidated hotel. We requested a cancelation so that we could find a hotel with a pool, but the Manager refused. She blamed Booking.com, stating 'It's not our fault, as Booking.com won't allow this cancelation. IF YOU'D BOOKED THROUGH US THERE WOULD BE NO PROBLEM IN CANCELING'. I managed to contact a rep at Booking.com who confirmed there was no mention of the pool being out of service. She was willing to give us a No-Charge Cancelation but would just need to speak to the hotel Manager first to confirm the cancelation. THE MANAGER REFUSED TO AGREE TO THE CANCELATION. Her reasoning was that Booking.com weren't being truthful, as 'There's no such thing as a No-Charge cancelation'. Absolute garbage!
We stayed the night in our room with the ripped curtains and got out a fast as we could in the morning.
EVEN HALF-PRICE IT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN WORTH IT! Worst hotel ever!

Great beds, good shower
Not much of a view, and breakfast could be higher quality

I was happy to have a microwave in the room. bed was very comfy and room was very clean
the restaurant staff was amazing!
the front desk staff wasn’t very welcoming. the young lady should have been more attentive. I don’t travel a lot so I needed more explanation about my stay.

staff was friendly, breakfast was adequate, room was clean
when comparing experiences and hotels, the cost was high for the value received. The description of the hotel lists a pool. at the desk they apologized saying the pool was going to open in a few weeks. according to another staff member, the pool hasn’t had water in it for 5 years. the parking lot is a rutted mess and the grounds are poorly cared for. it’s an ok hotel but pricey given the quality. it’s serviceable and average at best.

Breakfast was great!!😊
Air conditioners were a bit loud

Complimentary breakfast, clean room
First 2 nights was on second floor, staff they assigned to help load our stuff up to second floor did not help. Staff said I should have asked for ground floor pet friendly room, but we did not know they did not have elevator or how layout of hotel was when we booked. Had to put up with many kids screeming and running halls knocking on our and other customers doors from 6am to 11pm for first 2 nights.

Breakfast was fair, pool was closed!!! Very disappointing.
No pool, security locks on door not good.

The check in staff on the 29th at 4:00pm was fantastic, she was very bubbly and friendly!
The morning of April 30th staff were very helpful and kind as well!
The general manager took 5 days to reply to my complaints, I stayed on April 29th night, checked out April 30th morning. I tried to contact her using numerous avenues since Monday May 01.
The multiple noise complaints from myself, my fiancé, and other guests about a particular room went completely unmanaged by anyone other than the morning check out staff who told me they made notes for the afternoon and night staff to follow up with and that they would have phoned the police for an eviction.
I was told by the front desk on one out of numerous calls to them throughout the week (this call took place Thursday) that; "oh the room didn't listen to us asking them to be quiet so it isn't our fault".
The top of the bed was dirty, one light was out in our bathroom and the tub tap dripped all night (which I left out of my original complaint because I am really not that picky but now with everything else that happened I may as well include it all).
My room showed up on my credit card as being charged TWICE for $501.38 (so over $1,000) for a one night stay. It stayed this way on my card till Thursday at 4:00pm, making me throw up multiple times thinking that amount would be charged since the manager was unresponsive to my phone calls and emails.
The main offices of Comfort Inn cannot process refunds, just file formal complaints (which I did and they advised me the front desk would forward it to the general manager - the front desk told me they had no idea what I was talking about), so I HAD to have the general manager reach me to resolve these issues.
The manager finally contacted me after 5 days on May 5th, and LIED about how to get my complaints heard by the "right people" (basically blaming booking.com for her shortcomings and told me that she spoke with them about my complaints when she never contacted them).
