Gute Lage!
Motel Geruch!

Appears to be recently renovated. Everything was clean. Room was spacious.
Bedding was too heavy for the summer time. More suited for colder weather.

Everything is great! Spacious room, kitchen and the living room.
The rooms doesn’t get cold/ it was so hot when we were there but that’s it.

For a 2-star motel, Bow River Inn in Cochrane is amazing. The friendly staff bent over backwards to provide for our every need. For example, any extra dishes, coffee pods, soap and shampoo. They kept our room tidy and spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable. Our room was plenty large enough for our family of 5. We would stay here again.

Older motel was hesitant as I always stay in nice rooms. As a rule I avoid motels. Was the long weekend and I had limited choices. Gave this place a shot and I don't regret it. Much cleaner than most rooms I've been in in Alberta. Japanese cleanliness standards. Professional and courteous manager during my stay. Even though I was only there 2 nights. They put fresh towels and empty the garbage bins and make the beds everyday. Service I have to request in rooms 2 and 3 times more. Although the building and furniture are dated . This was a very clean and hassle free stay. Just because of the cleanliness I don't intend to stay in canmore or banff ever again. These rooms are 100% cleaner.
No complaints. Although clean and tidy it is a motel. Don't expect concierge service or an onsite gym or pool, etc. There is a maintained public park with a stocked trout pond behind the complex.

we were charged 50 dollars extra for early check-in and this email for extra charge came just an hour before the early check-in time slot. not really fair and good.
Also i did not get a room cleaning as expected. i had left a tag on the room door but it flew away...and i had to bear that for the next whole day of my stay.

Location and price was ok
Mattress was awful!

Comfortable bed. Absolutely silent heater/AC. Standard basic Canadian no frills motel room. Close to a Tim Horton's, 7-11, and a few other fast food joints, as well as Hwy 22 and 1A.

We LOVED the modern, full-sized toilet!! One can't say enough about that. The unit was spacious and clean. Great-sized tv, adequate coffee maker, microwave and fridge (no separate freezer). Nice rug outside and inside plus mud tray inside. Small table with two chairs plus some desk space with another chair.
The entrance door does not close evenly in frame, leaving a 3/8" gap toward bottom. The only other item - our unit had been vacant (?) for a while, outside was -15 C and the staff only turned on the little AC/heater an hour or so before we got there at 5 pm. The room was cool and the floor was Cold. LOL. Definitely had to wear shoes that evening. The heating/cooling unit was small for the space, so watch out for extremely cold or warm days if you are temperature-sensitive. We definitely would stay again. Staff was Great.

Exceptionally clean, well maintained, very comfortable beds.
Microwave is a tad dated, bathroom door appears to have missed the reno.

Two bedroom suite, both bedrooms a good size. The living room/kitchen space was nice and large with lots of sitting, 9 people with easy access to more chairs. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Beds were amazing.
Needed to get ice bucket and ice from the front desk.

Simple but perfect for a stay on the way from Calgary to Banff. The staff is very nice.

very clean and a comfy bed in a good location
A table would have been a nice addition as they have discontinued the breakfast they used to provide. We brought some breakfast food but a table would have really been nice.

you need to update your details on the motel. while checking in we found out that it is no longer pet friendly, which was one of the reason we chose this motel. the second point is that they no longer provide a breakfast as part of the stay. I have no complaints over service, quality of beds and a nice clean place to stay

Good sized room, and was clean and comfortable. Bed and sitting area. Cold time of year to visit Cochrane but staff quick to supply extra fleece blanket and space heater. Once room warmed up stayed warm.
The cold weather in that area at the time.

Overall good place
That it didn’t take dogs. Specifically small dogs

it was exceptionally spacious and on the ground floor. Parking was right outside the door for wheelchair/walker accessibility. The manager did everything he could to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
The bathroom toilet was not fitted with handicap bars nor was there the taller toilet which made it difficult for our loved one. it would have been nice to have a bed not so high off the floor but the manager did bring in some portable mattresses and we were able to use the couch for a bed.
