Hermosa zona para hospedarse en una casa con estilo

La decoración, la habitación, la ubicación en un hermoso barrio son lo mas destacable. Desayuno bueno por precio razonable.

Hay pocos lugares para dejar el auto por la tarde noche.

Para el precio que tiene, nada en particular. Si acaso, la cama.

Lejos del centro y sin servicios de restauración cerca. Cama bien, aseo regular (lavabo mínimo e incómodo), habitación mal: no tenía más que 1 sólo enchufe en toda la habitación y lejos de la cama, no tenía mesillas, muebles viejos y desvencijados, etc., desayuno mal, barato pero mal (insano y sin yogur, tostadas o fruta, excepto dos míseros gajitos de naranja y sin pelar). Para colmo había que descalzarse al entrar en la casa porque no se podía ir con zapatos. Lo de que no tenía ascensor ya se sabía, pero las escaleras son peores de lo que parecía. Por último, era muy difícil aparcar, pues la calle estaba siempre llena y había poquísimos huecos. O sea, mal.

Séjour agréable dans une ambiance chaleureuse.

L’emplacement était top ! Dans un cadre verdoyant, avec un accès facile au centre de Victoria. L’intérieur cosy et accueillant et la gentillesse de l’hôte ! La chambre était confortable.

Rien, mais il faut avoir en tête les escaliers quand on prépare sa valise.

Would love to come back again and again!

The views from my room facing the castle waa wonderful. It was quiet and spacier than I thought. I love the facilities and shared spaces. Really à beautiful place.

Location is superior- Walking distance to parks, restaurants, ocean…

Room facilities could be better. The room we stayed didnt have bedside lights so if you want to read at night you have to do with the glaring bright ceiling light. Bedside tables would be nice too. Also if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs coz’ you can hear your neighbors. Not a deal breaker anyway….

Miles above the call of duty

Everything was spectacular! I could move in tomorrow and be happy forever. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, everything was spotless, many handwritten instructive notes were placed helpfully around the property. Very impressive!

What’s not to like? Who’s writing in here, and who hurt them? I despised having a historical and breathtaking castle steps from my bed. The staff were too nice. My sleep was too good.

Comfortable, reasonable and charming.

The Craigmyle is unique and homey and filled our needs perfectly. It does feel like stepping into the past of a century ago and the creaks and ambiance charmingly remind you of that. I’ll be back!

It was nice to have coffee and tea available, the optional breakfast wasn’t so great. A self serve option might be better.

Enjoyable cozy guest house with an early 19th century feel.

The historic feel and proximity to Craigdarach Castle. The lounge was comfortable.

No TV in room. Room was really small. No coffee / Tea in room.

Times they are a changin'.

There was no parking for 2 blocks away. Not a lot of fun in heavy rain conditions. Photos of room led one to believe the room was of regular size. It was a surprise to be cramped in. Combine that with inflated Covid prices...I think you get the picture.

Very nice old house, small rooms but comfy and cozy!

Beware of the hot water availability, apparently there's a limited amount, if other rooms are showering it can take up to 30 minutes to get hot water available again.. they should warn clearly about this, or do something about it. Still worth it.

Nice stay in Victoria

The pre-advice is full of capital letters and things you shouldn't do but the reality is it's a lovely place to stay and the check in staff were very accommodating

Won't be staying again.

Room was clean. Sitting room area was nice. Location was quasi-convenient.

Stairs challenging, room tiny, no breakfast despite being advertised (overly long covid reaction?) Parking was a nightmare. Pictures gave impression exterior was like Craigmyle, which was behind the property. The property is a converted Victorian home with a few larger suites and many very small rooms.
