Hotel nice, your reservation for me did not work!

Reservation from Booking.com could not be located. I paid $30 more for reservation thru Doubletree. I notified you & told you DO NOT BILL MY CREDIT CARD! YOU WENT AHEAD & CHARGED MY CARD. I lease return funds to my credit card. I don't want to pay for the same room twice!

A good hotel badly marred by the hotel front desk staff and their unfriendly, aloof attitudes.

The location of the property was good. The architecture and Frank Lloyd Wright inspired interior features were unique and made it stand out from other hotels.

The staff were very unfriendly to the point of rudeness. Both checking in and checking out, different staff members displayed the same unfriendly demeanors - no smiles and not even a “welcome” or “thank you”. Hilton really needs to monitor the customer service at this property and make huge changes.

Great staff!! Comfortable beds!! Transport guy to airport was excellent as well!!

Close to airport, mall, restaurants. Most importantly the staff accommodated my family when our airline cancelled our flight.

If you don't care about a clean room, this is the place for you

Dirty. We were told by management that they only clean the rooms if you were staying there five days or longer. You have to request your own fresh towels and changing the garbage which they will not do it every day. That means the bathroom during our three days day was never cleaned and our was never made or bedsheets changed. Not to mention the carpets were filthy dirty wet like liquid spilt. I feel that since we went to booking.com that we are given a substandard experience. I don't know it has to do with the pricing but it seems like they were treating us differently. I asked to speak to the manager on a Saturday and was told that he was not available until Monday. It was surprising to me that there was not a manager on site over the weekend at a large hotel. My wife and I have stayed at double trees in Los Angeles and this stay at Tempe Arizona was by far the worst experience at the Doubletree. Will not recommend this property and will not return in the future.

Convenient one night stop.

Close to airport convenient shuttle!. Beautiful pool and outdoor area.

After an early morning flight my husband wanted to nap but it was so noisy he couldn’t sleep. There was a lot of work being done by cleaning staff and it sounded like drilling and banging being done. Didn’t bother me though I was by the pool with a good book.

The bathroom and sink we're clogged up. Reception never offered to move us to a different room, more comfortable. The heater was not working it was turning on and off cold and hot. Really horrible room.

Quiet room and comfortable bed. Very clean.

The Air conditioner blew into my face while in bed. I was unable to adjust the fan to a comfortable level making my sleep experience uncomfortable.

Next time we’ll book directly with the hotel. We paid for 2 rooms thru booking.com but when we checked in it only showed

Good place to stay and good location

Enjoyed being able to find a shady spot outside to have coffee or read a book. Room was clean and comfortable. Hotel was conveniently located near my son's home and graduation festivities. All staff was friendly.

Finding the room can be confusing. Room did not have a microwave, so I could not reheat the leftovers from my very large (and tasty) breakfast.

Location to airport was great. Free cookies and water always good. Pool is nice and staff wee efficient. Shuttle service is appreciated. Room has mini fridge and other basic amenities you would expect.

Hotel is very dated on the outside and bathrooms although clean are also very dated.

Disappointing

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was provided. which was great because we were going to purchase travel size ones after checking in. I enjoyed that the windows were able to open so that we can let fresh air into our room. I appreciated the fact that there was plenty of parking.

upon entrance of our room, we were hit with a chemical smell; it wouldn't have bothered me so much if we weren't traveling with children, but we were. the carpet was moist, the remote control to the tv had teeth marks on it. The walls are thin, we were able to hear every noise going on outside.

I spoke with a manager before checkout and he was very nice and understanding. He made everythingmade everything okay.

the room was very clean and fresh

The towels were dirty and the night shift never bought better towels when I called. I had to go to the front desk and ask again. The same person i spoke with acted as if she didn’t remember our conversation.

Superb

We had an incident that happened there that ended with the police coming. My 14 year old was involved in a situation no parent wants. The front desk receptionist Christine and the security guard were excellent at helping us handle the situation and removed the person harassing her. We ended up still having a great time knowing we were being taken care of. It really is a great place to stay.
