Didn’t have breakfast there
Nothing special
5.0
We loved being able to wake up and golf, ride our bicycles to “the grand bend strip”, and have access to a beautiful beach.
3.5
Unfortunately no breakfast because of Covid restrictions.
The Sauna was closed, children expected pools and sauna etc.
4.5
beautiful setting. easy to find. comfy big rooms
bathroom wasn’t very clean. there was hair from past guests in the tub as well as on the floor.

Grea night
Pool open would of been nice

Room was nice but could use some freshening up. I.e. new carpet or flooring bath tub is badly chipped.
I am handicapped and made that very clear upon reserving the room. I could have been told that we would have to leave the bldg for any thing we may have wanted to do. Also the pool was not open which was a major disappointment. The grounds are beautiful but being unable to walk far I could not walk to explore. Your resort is not handicapped friendly. Downstairs restrooms and steps everywhere steep paths etc.

The bed was comfortable.
I didn't realize my room was going to be on an upper floor and I have mobility issues so by the time I found the darn building and I pulled my bags out the car I wasn't about to pack it all up again drive back to the front desk to request a different room. So after lugging all my bags up a flight of stairs and getting all sweaty I was severely disappointed to find that the pool was not open. You can not even reserve a time slot like other hotels are doing during Covid. I had asked for a room with a view when I booked online and was told curtly they had no rooms with a view. I explained that why I selected the room I did online and that I was there because my Mom passed away and she had a special connection to the Lake was there any room closer as I was there to say a special goodbye. He said ( without emphathy) no but I could try listening for it through the window! This was at the end of November folks! I would freeze with the window open! I resigned myself to the fact that I paid an above average price for a below average room with no pool, no coffeemaker, no view and no open restaurant in the hotel so I thought hey maybe I will at least sleep in and requested a late checkout. No problem, cool. Turned on the TV and it didn't work.... by this time its getting dark went to switch on the bedside light...nope...wasn't plugged in. Sigh...so after moving heavy furniture around (with a bad back) and plugging in the lamp and fiddling with the cable wire on the TV to no avail I had to call the concierge...again. By this time I'm starting to question whether I'm a Karen now but no ...no.. I haven't asked for the manager yet. I mean hey, I've worked in customer service before and I strive to be the opposite of "the high maintenance customer !" They are no longer answering my calls so I had to leave a message. The TV guy came and righted everything and lingered as though I may tip him? Um hello ?

location
we wanted a stay in a hotel with pool and spa. the pool was closed ( it had been mentioned as hotel facilities). the spa was closed on weekends!!!! our stay was weekend. Also, we have paid for a room with balcony and our room didn't have one! The breakfast was expensive and poor. however the lady in the restaurant was awesome and welcoming.

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The location so close to the beach and the Pinery provincial park was excellent.

Check in was ok...Girl was not the friendliest sort at all. Dustin was very friendly and helpful in Golf pro shop. Natasha in Dave's Pub was a great waitress.
The live entertainment did not show for his gig...I'm a musician and I'm sure he could have been replaced by someone in your rotation of entertainers. It was our 41 anniversary and we travelled 3 hrs to get there. I asked for a nice room with a view. The room were got was Ok but location was near a whole wedding party that was noisy at two am and front desk shut them down quickly. We were not given any map or direction as to where things are located...could not find beach path or maybe it's shut down along with the pool and spa?? Thanks to Covid...still pool and spa should not be advertised if not available.

Everything !
Overall was fantastic . The rooms could be updated a little 🤔

room was great, nice to be able to walk to the beach. Mini fridge was helpful if you want to keep your own food. No coffee maker is disappointing.
When we checked in the staff was not very forthcoming. We asked for a different room (and were given that) the first one had a view of the parking lot... even though there was lots of vacancy, they did not have maps to offer and seemed to not be informed or care. Staff at the restaurant were much better. Breakfast is not available weekdays (after labour day), you have to go into town which is ok - except wednesdays when ONLY Tim Hortons was an option.
4.5
No breakfast available. And no coffee maker in room of microwave.
AC DID NOT WORK. WARM KN THE ROOM.
3.5
The room was comfortable and an extra chair was brought in for us as we needed two.
stayed in the main building as a ground floor, that I had requested, was not available, handy for coffee in the morning.
Reason we chose this hotel was location and the swimming pool. Location was fine but the pool was closed and had been for sometime, this should definitely be mentioned on the web site prior to booking. Very disappointed it was closed. No breakfast available on site.

Beach.
Door hardware was broken and screen to deck was warped so it didn't close. Sound proofing to adjacent rooms was minimal. No coffee or breakfast available in room.

Breakfast and the view we’re wonderful
Lunch was mediocre. Didn’t stay for dinner, the menu was too similar to lunch. Found a great restaurant in Bayfield
3.0
Beds very comfortable
Clean
Grounds beautiful
Air conditioner very loud, sounds like a 747 taking off when it comes on. There is no way anyone could sleep through that
I booked in Jan and made a request re a room in Cedar Lodge. Was disappointed that I couldn’t have a room there as I have been coming for 4 years and love it there. I was told that that room was not available as there was going to be electrical work done there. I am wondering if that did indeed happen as I only saw a vehicle there on Tuesday night. I had booked a request for Sept 7 to 10
I know requests can’t always be honoured but was disappointed
