I was very pleased with my stay at the Beacon Inn.

I stayed at this location because I was looking for an experience that would be different from staying at a standard hotel. I liked the location. This room was exactly as advertised and what I was expecting.

There were times when the room was a little hot. We were not able to control the heat. I think I also would’ve liked it if someone was on duty at the desk all evening. That said, the staff I did encounter or pleasant and helpful.

Pleasant accommodations in good location

location, size of the room. the morning person put breakfast options out earlier than advertised. the breakfast is "available" at 8 but person put food out early (730) as people were coming to the breakfast area and/or leaving before 8

It would have been nice to have some fruit available with breakfast.

The location to Boston University.

We had to climb 4 stories to our room. No close parking. Paid $35 for parking 2 blocks away.

Not going back and do not recommend

Nice location.

Cleanliness poor. Bathroom floor seemed like it had not cleaned for a while. Sink and tub had stains. although bathroom was private but outside of the room. Breakfast was very basic.

Very cozy big room

Its a comfort to know that its a cozy place away from the hustle and buzzle near all attractions ! The stuff and julie is very helpful with anything i need ! The rooms are nice big cozy and.minutes away from the subway stop! Great nearby restaurants !

Nice location for a B and B. Hads just about everything you will need.

Great place to stay, night staff was very helpful. Nice little room, good price. Beautiful place inside and out. Love all the details wood work.

Having to move my truck 2 times. I paid for a parking spot, and ended up on the street parking.

historic feel, quiet, low stress, uncrowded, homey. great soft bed, bay window onto tree lined street, breakfast pastries, coffee, creaky stairs, chandalier, fireplace in room

I will be back!

I was so positively surprised by this place. It is what anyone would expect from a bed & breakfast in the Northeast, USA. The staff was extremely helpful. My plane was late and I was able to coordinate the late check-in without any trouble. The room was a great size and the decoration was very homey. Rather than a modern impersonal hotel, this one is a character. Breakfast is included. Even though there is no designated living room to eat it on, you can serve yourself nice pastries, cereals, bananas, and hot drinks, either to go or to take to your room. The place that clean bathrooms ventilation and good heater. The location is GREAT. I will be back.

The mattresses are relatively soft, in case you are use to hard mattresses.

Great location, but somewhat low on cleanliness.

The building s a charming, classical-style house, furnished with taste.

My room had a detached bathroom, which was not indicated at the time of booking. Also, the room was not clean.

Bathrooms are cramped. A/C only in some rooms.
