Cyle at reception is a gem.

The hotel has contemporary decor which is beautiful. The room was clean, modern and not crowded.
The walls are thin. I could hear almost everything the guest next door were doing and all of the traffic from outside. Also, the plumbing in my room was bad; toilet would back up with just liquid waste and the water pressure in the sink was too low.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed and room. Bartender was great.
There was an inconvenience regarding my service dog, which was not allowed in the restaurant area. We sat at the bar instead.

It is a beautifully, lavishly decorated property with a perfect location for our needs.

The staff was excellent. Donna at the front desk was fantastic and really made a difference in our stay.
I am extremely disappointed that I was charged for parking. Why would any business that has available parking charge their guests to park. What are you supposed to do with your vehicle. Because of this it is extremely unlikely I will stay with you again, unless I walk to Atlanta.

The general manager was horrible, rude and aggressive. I will never stay here again.

Loved the decor, staff, and restaurant. Everyone, and I mean everyone were so hospitable. I came for a solo bday celebration and the manager made sure I was well taken care of.

We always stay at the Burgess when in Atlanta. Great location, easy on site parking. Love the bar and decor. The manager is fabulous. The rooms are spacious and the service is always great.

very good atmosphere, friendly staff, spacious rooms, comfortable bed. the restaurant was great, the food exquisite.
I could hear a lot noise, from maybe a generator outside, coming on and off. I am a light sleeper and it kept disturbing me while I was sleeping. Also, the elevator doesn’t smell fresh.

My friend and I decided that we were exhausted upon check in and wanted to eat at the hotel restaurant. There is a dress code, but no worries—anything from the restaurant could be ordered at the bar. The bar tenders were very attentive despite the volume of people in the bar and lounge area. The meatballs and gnocchi stew were delicious!!! The mocktail I order was delicious as well. The items on the menu are not exactly cheap, but they definitely do not disappoint. The lobby, bar, and lounge were VERY well decorated and functional. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help.

I found the staff that I dealt with to be warm and polite, which I appreciated. The cleanliness of my room met my high standards, which I also appreciated. I also liked the shower, specifically the water pressure was perfect for me along with plenty of hot/warm water and the design of the shower itself was smart (a shower door that closes all the way so water doesn't end up all over the floor, an interior handle giving you a place to hang a washcloth, and a small corner shelf, which provided just enough room for my toiletries).
There was absolutely no water pressure in the bathroom sink, which made it difficult to rinse soap off of my hands. I also felt that for the price I paid for my stay, the complimentary coffee/tea served in the lobby in the morning should have been a lot better than it was. I am pregnant and was hoping to get a cup of decaf coffee, which was not even offered, so I tried to make myself a cup of tea instead, but there was not enough hot water left in the carafe for me to make a full cup of tea. There was also no regular sugar packets left -only artificial sweeteners, which I do not care for. I'm not sure what time coffee/tea service ends, but I arrived at 8:30a which I feel is still early enough where staff should be restocking the coffee/tea station.
