Great breakfast, I had the classic breakfast, Jon had the omelette - both excellent
Dinner - Jon loved his main course, but burratta salad with smoked red pepper puree was 'odd' . My french onion soup would have been fine, except the onions had not been caramalized (very crunchy which is not correct) and the chef added chimichuri to the top (??). The chicken breast with fettucine was good, but there was little chicken with lots of fettucine. Would have liked more chicken. Desert (sundae) was great and server gave us extra since we were sharing - thank you.

The room and outdoors.
The representative at the front desk was matter-of-fact and not really welcoming. When I asked her about hiking options and recommended places of interest in the area, she reluctantly replied that she has no idea and could not be of any help to me in this matter. She gave me the feeling I am disturbing her. Since she didn't offer me any help, I had to ask her for tourist brochures, (which are available in every hotel of this kind of resort. This was eventually given to me by another employee.
In other words, in that kind of hotel , I would expect a much more pleasant and courteous service. My advice to the manager don't employ unprofessional fron desk staff members.

the difficulty with cancellation of our second night stay. We were not informed that the breakfast on Monday morning was not available due to staff shortage.

Nice place for a weekend getaway. We stayed in one of the cabins which was nice and private. We had dinner on site both nights (upstairs and down) which was very good, overlooking the property and lake. We also played some rounds of golf. Overall it was a great weekend!
Wifi was fine most places, even by the water but barely reached our cabin. The tennis court was unusable.

we had no breakfast, it was to expensive
your description of the hotel.
We booked because we needed to be close to a pool, your pool is more a bit bigger than a hoy tub.
The description and the rating was more like a three star hotel.

Property is really beautiful and so much to do in the outdoors. Golf, swimming, spa, the lake and beach. Superior room is very large and comfortable. Terrace outside our room was lovely for breakfast, snacks and reading. Watching the lake, the birds and lake views.
We got take-out from the sports pub as it wasn't easy to access the dining room in a wheelchair from the #103 location. The take-out food was very nice and the staff were very accommodating.
We needed an accessible location and did enquire before booking. The room itself was large and accessible. We knew that the roll-up shower was not available as it had already been booked. The washroom was very large and able to use the standup shower and/or do a sponge bath.
Properties often don't have a good idea of what's accessible - you need a higher toilet seat. need more safety bars around the toilet and inside the stand-up shower.
The entry/exit into the parking lot for a wheelchair was not convenient. The door was locked from the outside upon entry and was too heavy to try to manage a person in a wheelchair, open the heavy door and manage to get inside while pushing the chair. There needs to be a way to open the door automatically for any disabled person alone, and a way to keep the door open while managing the wheelchair entry. On entry, in a driving rain storm, we needed to ask another driver to assist by opening the door at the ramp from inside and holding the door while we managed the wheelchair entry. Once inside, we felt a little trapped by that entry door.

Cleanliness, Staff behavior, and the golf court.
Neighbors intruded while we play golf that actually ruined the game spirit.

We had dinner one evening....very good, perhaps a little pricey. On the outside screened deck...lovely view.
Noticed cobwebs along the baseboards of the screened porch...obviously a problem with an outdoor venue close to the lake, also on the outside of the hallway adjacent to the rooms, there was quite a bit of dirt and dust on the glass. Understandibly being on a golf course on the lake, there is bound to be dust and grass blowing, but could be addressed. Room and facilities were great. We enjoyed a spa treatment also.

the staffs are really not friendly. I never had the hotel like this.

The main reason that we booked was for the view.
The patio door wouldn’t open and wasn’t fixed until the next day when we were leaving.

We only got one breakfast as they had the restaurants close while hosting weddings
The rooms we stayed in are outdated and the resort in general needs some TLC. Its tired

A beautiful place with terribly rude staff. They treated my family terribly. I purchased a night away for them as a surprise and they told me horror stories of how they were treated as second class citizens because they weren’t the favoured, Golding regulars. There was no food due to a wedding but that wasn’t told to anyone. Staff was consumed by a wedding and it was obvious that only golfers are respected here. Dispicable hospitality. Don’t waste your money. The view is not worth it. I’m horrified that customer service is the last priority. I wish I had the name of the man who embarrassed my family. Front desk staff - get some training.

The golf course was amazing. Very friendly staff. Food and service was excellent. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come back again. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks Eganridge. Kudos to all.
Nothing. It was good.

the room 156 was very old and not proper cleaned, the shower was not fit to use since the inlets where all dirty full of old stuff at the bottom of the bathtub inlets , the two beds had no cover on the mattress, no air condition just an old dirty fan.
the pictures on the internet look great but the room was very disappointing! If we would have seen the room first we would have stayed somewhere else!! We have pictures from the room and bathtub - beds and so on..... We wanted a great night and got a nightmare staying there.

Beautiful room in a lovely location. The food that was available continues to be excellent despite staffing shortages.
This was approximately our 10th stay at Eganridge Resort Golf Club Spa and it was somewhat of a disappointment. I don’t know if it is under new management or just disorganized after Covid but there were multiple issues. The first time I tried to step out onto the balcony, the screen door fell off. I reported it immediately but had to follow up repeatedly. Three days later, the lady from the front desk came down and managed to put it back on its track. It still stuck however so we couldn’t actually use it.
When we placed our booking, we asked for the breakfast package. We received a an email reply stating that the breakfast package was only available to guests who booked directly and not for those who used Booking.com This had never been a problem previously.
As it turned out, the point was moot as no breakfast of any kind was available to anyone. Apparently three cooks had quit the day we arrived so they did not have the staff to provide breakfast.
We were there for five days but the pool remained closed for all of them. Apparently there were problems with the chlorine level.
No housekeeping was provided despite the length of our stay. You could request fresh towels or toiletries and collect them yourself from the front desk.We are fully vaccinated and advise them of such at check-in so one has to wonder where Covid precautions end and cost cutting begins.
To summarize, we had no screen door, no breakfast, no pool, no housekeeping and NO APOLOGY
We overheard numerous guests complaining and more than one stated that they would not return. A token gesture by management to partially compensate for the numerous inconveniences would have gone a long way. I suppose a discount on the rate would have been too much to ask for, but it wouldn’t have killed them to offer complementary muffins and juice or a free drink on the patio or a discount on a future stay.
