A great stay in Rocky Harbour!

The location was a littler far from the main village area. Only there one night so it was all good. There was a little confusion on arrival as we were told we had the front room and keys would be on the table. One other couple checking in at the same time had the same instructions. We eventually found the back unit and all was good.

Wifi was not great but the unit was clean and we enjoyed the back porch and sunshine when we arrived. Pouring rain when we left. A little too far from the village.

Comfortable, basic place to stay while exploring the beauty of Rocky Harbour.

It was a comfortable space with everything we needed. Decent location, although not right in the “downtown” core of Rocky Harbour. Lobster point lighthouse is a worthwhile museum to check out as is the short beach hike. Very beautiful with a unique surprise at the end.

There was a damp odour as soon as we walked in. Although there was a dehumidifier running, I wonder if it’s perhaps not emptied often enough.

I was robbed.

Nothing.

The pictures make it seem lovely. It is not. The outside was unkept and felt trashy. When we arrived, no one was there we waited 30 minutes and finally tried the door. It was unlocked and keys were on the table. Who does that? It was hot outside. The inside was over 90 degrees, hotter than outdoors. The rooms faced west, so the sun was blaring and baking the rooms. One window could not be opened, because there were no screens. Two of the three windows were "cellar" windows and could not allow air flow. The other barely opened. It was dark and gloomy and baking hot. When the shower would only give cold water, we called and were hung up on. We texted and were basically told too bad. We left you a tiny, disfunctional fan. Ha ha we got you. Do not stay here. Do not believe the reviews.

Never again will we stay at this a property, we will however tell anyone who ask us about our experience at this propert

It was spacious. Quiet area.

The roof leaked (I have pics/video). Although we booked for six people there were only two beds, no pull-out couch or cots. The bathtub had hairs and it was rusty (I have pics). There was no follow-up to the fact we moved the furniture and placed down pots to collect the rainwater.

It was very mouldy. It smelled like mold. Everyone was sneezing from the mould.

Quaint and clean suite.

Very quaint, does not seem like a big spot from the road, but we had the back suite and it was roomy, clean and comfortable. Only issue was the shower, which they were waiting on plumber to fix. Beds were large but comfortable. Enjoy our stay.

I would not recommend anyone to rent this place.

Extreme dampness- no dehumidifier. Large water leak in ceiling - should not have been rented. Hot water tap in tub doesn’t work - need to be super man to use. Beds are too small for adults. Missing smoke detector in bedroom- major fire hazard. Missing screen in window of bedroom. Large yellow stain in tub.

Disappointing

The property was very clean

Maintance was not done on the property, toilet was leaking and heating unit in one bedroom didn't work. A strong odor of mildew permeated the property.

Clean and updated housekeeping apartment. Close to village of Rocky Harbour.

Good

No breakfast but ample kitchen, refrigerator, microwave, stove and oven were excellent. We made good use of the washer and dryer.

The outside looks really bad. The store etc downstairs is grubby. The stairs ( no elevator) are steep and long. The light switches are strange and the water faucets in the tub are backwards.

Could hear the front unit walking around and doors opening and closing early morning and late evening...felt like they were in our unit!
