Perfect stay in a perfect place!

I loved the ambiance of the hotel~ quaint but upscale feeling. My daughter loved the smell of the property and room~ big compliment from a 16 yr old girl! Many comfort details provided~ sunscreen, beach gear, bags of ice and cookies and milk!

I really enjoyed everything for our one-night stay. I didn't like that I couldn't stay another night!

Location was good but I wouldn't want to stay there again.

The location was great - close to the ocean and walking distance to several restaurants. The staff was helpful. Unfortunately the pool was out of service and they comped us the amenity fee. The boho surf decor was fun.

Our room said Ocean View Deluxe and it you could barely see the Ocean. It should not be advertised as such. I was very disappointed. The staff kindly comped us 10% off our stay because of this. The floor wasn't very clean. There also was a low hanging light fixture that both my husband and I hit our heads on.

the location is great.

The place is been renovated but it’s old, and the worst part about are the rooms on the first floor, you will hear feet stomping from the room above so if you do t get a room on the second floor I wouldn’t stay there!

I thought I’d have a view of the ocean. So thought it was expensive for no view. Pool very small. But rooms were very nice. Beds comfy and it was very clean.

Location

Room 111. Next to elevator, across from ice chest, across from stairway exit, ground floor. Since there is no carpeting, hear upstairs room sounds, exterior doors only... noise, noise, noise..Upon arrival we tried to have the room changed, but advised none available in our price range. This room should be used as a storage room in a motel setting.

I love the location and the staff.

The room’s decor is barebone - the tiles are a nice touch - the furniture/bed are just fine - but could be more comfortable - firmer bed - more cushions/blankets.

Gorgeous hotel- loved everything about it.

Lovely rooms, close proximity to the beach/shops/restaurants. Coffee in the morning, wine o’clock and cookies before bed were also an added bonus.

Great location, handy for town and beach

Great location just outside the centre of Laguna Beach with a great walk through a park to a quiet cove or the town. Nice restaurants nearby. Room nicely furnished and comfortable. Pool area was pleasant with a fire pit for cooler evenings. The people who serviced our room were pleasant and efficient. Great underground convenient parking.

No bar or breakfast facilities. The floor of our room was dirty although the room itself was clean.

No central A/C, very old and loud A/C units some of which do not work!

Beautiful view, great location.

A/C in my room did not work at all. It felt like it was 80ºF in the room, hotter than outside. When I went down in middle of night to let front desk know, it was apparent this was a common problem they were aware of. It seems many of the A/C units at the hotel were in need of a freon charge. The front desk was very nice about switching me to a nicer room with a working A/C, but they next day they called and expected me to move again to another room that matched the original room type I had booked. I refused to pack up and move a second time, and bc the hotel was at capacity they did not hassle me. However, the outdated A/C unit kept me up for 4 nights, as it made a very loud clicking sound every hour or so for about 5 minutes at a time.

Adorable hotel with a beachy vibe

Laguna Beach House exceeded my expectations. It's even cuter than the pictures, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious, it's quiet, great pool area, and our balcony had a peekaboo view of the ocean. I loved the location as it was walking distance to the heart of Laguna Beach (about 10 min walk) and beach (5 min). Sufficient parking to handle all of the guests and the spaces are large so you don't have to worry about hitting cars or posts.

I can't really think of anything I would change. Compared to other hotels in Laguna Beach at the time I booked, it was mid-range, but overall it was a little pricier than I like to pay for a hotel.

Overall, we had a very lovely stay and would love to come back.

Amazing location with cute amenities like Wine hour + Cookies in the evening. The pool/spa area was super relaxing. It's also a walkable distance to the beach and depending where you are standing, you can see the ocean!

Our AC stopped working in the middle of the night. Since we were staying one night, we didn't fuss over it and turned on the fan.

The price was pretty steep and no view from window or balcony to sit on. Also disappointed with price of private taxi to airport- 300 dollars + tax 😬

Laguna Beach House is a fun, relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the central location.

The room was nicely located near the pool. I liked the decor and cleanliness of the property. We were able to walk everywhere which was great!

I thought the hotel would be closer to the beach. The room was very expensive, especially with added costs for parking and the hospitality fee. I requested no down, but there was a down pillow in the room so I woke up with a migraine the first night. I was fine after getting rid of the down pillow. It would be a best policy to double check rooms for a special request like this.

Very good

I liked the surf decor and the surfing books in the room. The wine happy hour and cookies were nice. The location is within walking distance of the POM and the beach. I was glad for the beach chair availability.

More sugar, etc. for the in-room coffee.
