Underrated, but needs elevators

Spacious room. The view.

One elevator working. That was quite inconvenient. One of the main reasons I stay at Oyo is the ease of getting and out without walking through the intentionally confusing catacombs of the large resorts, but it took 5 or 10 minutes to get an elevator. It was so bad that the staff showed us how to use the hidden service elevator.

Wonderful value for the price, it worked perfect for my airport schedule

Outstanding value for the price

Ice machine was out of ice/broken on level 2 so I made the mistake of taking the stairs to a different level ice machine where I discovered elevator access was disabled. It took a while to find my way back to the correct floor through the dingy stair wells. Other than that it was a good experience at this hotel.

Nur noch der günstige Preis zieht uns hin.

Die Lage ist recht gut neben dem MGM, ist man schnell am Strip. Parken kostenlos - das ist cool. Die Hootersgirls und die Mädels an der Underground Bar sind cool drauf Ebenfalls einige Dealer sind lustig. Es gibt hier 1$ Blackjack (immer besetzt) und einen 5 $ Craps Tisch, was sehr selten geworden ist in Vegas. Für billig Urlaub machen und wenig Ansprüche ist es gut.

Die Sauberkeit lässt immer mehr zu wünschen übrig. Betten wurden nicht gemacht, nur frische Handtücher, wenn überhaupt.. Wir sind jedes Jahr hier und es wird immer ungemütlicher, es wird einfach nichts mehr wirklich gemacht an dem Hotel. Aufzüge, bis auf Einen, alle ausgeschaltet. Wir durften dann den Personalaufzug nutzen oder sind die Treppe gegangen. Es riecht viel nach Marihuana im Hotel. Personal nicht besonders freundlich oder Hilfsbereit, Kommunikation diente anscheinend nur dem Zweck.

The worst experince I have ever had. It's a scam.

The room smeeled like must and had the bare min.

Below I have attached an email that I sent to the locations hotel director Lisa Karen. I did so, so that you may understand that I wanted to resolve this at the hotel. All parties with whom I dealt with were polite and courteous, however, seemingly afraid to do the right thing. I James A Foster booked my room through booking.com. Upon my arrival I said as much and was then given my room key to room 626. This is after I was mandated to pay double the cost of the room as a hold. There was no mention of the parking fee either, but nonetheless, it was paid. We start out for our room. The elevator going to our section of the hotel was non operational. Only one of the other elevators was operational as well. We had to wait ten minutes for an opportunity to get on the elevator. After a few more minutes we were then directed to the maintenance elevator. When we get to our floor we can’t find our room. We are now really frustrated, so we wait for the elevator again. Again, the minutes pas, so we decide to take the stairs to go back downstairs to find out how we get to our room. As we enter the corridor, we see that our section of the floor where our room is rooms, is through this passage way that takes you either to the stairs and or the other section. I think it would have been rather appropriate to tell a guest that there are some obstacles to get to your room. I have had two heart attacks resulting in a stint being placed in my heart. Walking up and down the stairs is not recommended. When we entered the room there was a strong smell of must and cleaning materials. I appreciate the cleaning materials, but the must should not be something your guest should ever have to experience. Through booking.com, I requested an additional bed. The bed was not there either. So far This maze/escape room situation we were involuntarily put in, was quite a surprise to me and a few others guest as well, but far from amusing.

Le lit était confortable, la télé grande ok mais vieillot. Le casino n'offre que deux bouteilles d'eau.

La baignoire était bien trop petite et...j'ai trouvé des poils dedans...donc le service doit quand même être revu, surtout que quand je suis arrivé, ma chambre était la seule ouverte...assez cocasse.... Pas de passage dans les chambres pendant le séjour, ok. Minimum du minimum pour le savon.

Staff and casino great but expected better room standard (bathroom).

Awesome location and great staff! Casino floor is awesome! Rooms are clean. Breakfast at hooters is great.

Elevators- 17 floors and only one of three elevator was working. This made me mad. A few times I spent 15 mins waiting for elevator, which came always full and in the end I was not able to enter and had to use the stairs. That was not so nice with all the suitcases! Also you should renovate the bathrooms, toilet and bath tube are so old and disgusting that I was disgusted to use them.

Awful. Dirty.

The pool facilities were nice and location was good

The rooms were filthy. Dust everywhere. The first room we went to smelled of vomit. We had to move. When we arrived we were told we would have to upgrade to a king room despite having paid for one. Receptionist was incredibly rude. Got a queen room despite having paid for a king. Would never stay here again. Had to pay a massive deposit.

A budget option

Oyo is located just a few minutes walk from the strip and bed was comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Casino was fine.

The elevators took forever and kept breaking down. One time it took 15 minutes of waiting before one came which is just super inconvenient. The rooms are dated and need a refurb - in particular the bathrooms.

Quiet happy, would come back again

Good clean room, hot shower, TV working. Complimentary water bottles in room. Spacious and quiet. Room was in the Ocean view area, within a short walking distance to the Strip and bus stop to get the Deuce bus for the strip. Overall very good. Close to airport, only 8-10 mins via Uber.

Bit of a smoking room carpet smell, could deal with it, only stayed one night. Otherwise was a good stay.

Información que no fue clara al momento de hacer la reserva por booking, se pago todo con impuestos incluidos y en el lobby cobraron adicional 50 dólares de impuesto de resort por cada habitación, por lo tanto la información de la reserva fue engañosa, teniendo en cuenta que eran dos habitaciones fueron 100 dólares adicionales.

Good location, but very inconvenient with facilities and cleaning

There were five elevators in the building, but ONLY TWO worked. We had to wait at least 10-15min during weekend as there are no stairs down to lobby. Also, they never cleaned our room during our stays even though we didnt put any sign not to disturb me.

It was great and accomodati ng.

The place was safe for my kids unlike the other hotels.

No 24/7 restaurant that age friendly. No hot water, no room services available except cleaning I believe. Also the deposit fee of $250 which was more expensive than our 2nights stay which I believe is too much.

Good place to stay on the strip

The location, the casino, the room was spacious and the bed was big. It was definitely worth the money for the location.

There was only one lift working, as a lot of people have said. The maximum time we waited was about 5 minutes. So it’s definitely not as bad as everyone says. Check out day, 2 lifts went past we couldn’t get which was a bit frustrating.

Not staying there again. The premises is getting old and worn down.

Location and no parking fees.

Elevators were not working. Only 1 working elevator of 3 in the tower with the most rooms. It took about 25 minutes to catch the elevator. No stairs to exit building. The amenities were not available the pool and exercise room but was written as they were open. Carpets were old and dirty. No hand soap in the bathrooms. Front desk representatives were not helpful in refunding our resort fees when the fees were not available to guests. Staff did not seem to care about non working elevators and did not inform customers at check in.
