Budget friendly, transit friendly, needs a more refined eye when cleaning.

The location is fantastic. Great bus connections to popular shopping areas and SFU Walkable to grocery stores, lots of restaurants and a pharmacy. Great view from my room with lots of natural light. Heating was comfortable level. The bed is comfortable. On-site laundry was a huge help. There is a nice outdoor space but the weather did not cooperate. The host was responsive and helpful.

The level of cleanliness. I had read the reviews and brought my own cleaning supplies and gave it a good scrub. There were items from previous guests under the bed. Also, the bathroom floor needed a good cleaning. I decided not to use the kitchen based on the cleanliness. A good clean from top to bottom would go a long way.

Exceptional

The room was really the perfect size for me. The shower had excellent water pressure as well as temperature regulation. The medium-sized personal fridge was such a nice touch too. I'm lazy so didn't use the kitchen much, but whenever I did the appliances and recycling were all quite easy to figure out. My room's door had a standard turnkey lock but also a safety sliding lock overhead. I never had any questions about my safety due to that😊 The washer and dryer are modern, so they had so many options for customisation. The home is surrounded by so much lush nature too, so I really felt that I got to breathe well every night with the window open. The owner is really no-frills direct, which I like. Instructions prior to checking in were all clear and easy to understand. I'm grateful to have stayed here while visiting Burnaby and Vancouver.

Very poor

The room.didnt match the description on the website. The kitchen has a funny smell. The bathroom shower was very tiny and the light bulbs were burned out. Lots of stairs going down to the back of the house with poor lighting. The basement was very cold. The host was not friendly and was always going outside for a smoke. I would not recommend this stay to anyone ... very disappointed!!

this place is totally gross from outside to inside.

it was so dirty, from outside to inside, kitchen was disgusting, the bed smelled like dirty sweaty feet, I had to move the bed to move the air cover and there was so much dirt it totally gross.

I was expecting an Inn since that was the title given. In reality, it was a subdivided house.

The mattress was comfortable enough. Inside rooms were clean.

Too expensive forn$200 a night

I rarely review places but this one I just had to. Don’t let the pictures mislead you. This place was a joke. It was the dirtiest place I’ve ever stayed at in my life! The bathroom looked it it hadn’t been cleaned in MONTHS. Didn’t even feel like stepping on the floor. Stain on the mirror, old bars of soaps sitting around. It had a paper grocery bag for a garbage can. There was a weird smell throughout the house. The bedsheet weren’t clean (most probably not changed) he charged us $70 as cleaning fee FOR A SINGLE NIGHT! This was definitely not worth the $200/night we paid. Save your money! And if for some strange reason you end up booking this place be careful if parking in the back of the house on the gravel. Our car got stuck there.

You will find out there is a $50.00 cleaning fee, which is uncommon for me when booking on Booking.com. The bathroom was not cleaned, especially the toilet.
