Great location. They backed the work fence up so there's plenty of room for parking now. This was done during my stay. Clean hotel. Extremely comfortable. I had a spinal fusion and the beds are great. My kid approves of TV channels, internet speed, floor space and TV size. This place will be amazing this summer. They are renovating but don't let that scare you. They are very quiet and seem to work so fast. Great location! Right around the corner from Dennis the menace park Super nice staff. I'm a diamond choice member and used to be a flight attendant. This hotel beats a ton of hotels I've stayed in. Simply, kudos! Carmel Beach is 1.5 to 3 miles away depending on the route. My kid preferred that beach over all the rest. They have cute tables and chairs outside, adorable plants. This hotel will give the rest a run for their money soon enough. Oooh I love the roll down black out shades. That's nice!!
The 2nd or 3rd room we stayed in didn't have a dresser. The other times we've been to town the rooms had ample storage. They're renovating and you can tell they just did the floors so I am sure they didn't want to put the heavy duty stuff in here until it's all the way done which is beyond understandable. As comfy as this bed is and I can beyond see the TV.... who cares about the stuff lol. Can't keep my eyes open to see it. All the things I can see people complaining about they are jumping on it. Don't let any of that deter you by any means!! I'm picky as they come and we've been pretty satisfied with every stay. By the looks of the all the way completed rooms the completed sets are beautiful and totally functional. Even the rooms in transition are pretty and comfortable.

Really great location. It’s close to the beaches, mall, restaurant, and other activities
Parking is a little tight with construction

Construction in parking lot made parking very poor. Rooms very small- no comfortable furniture

It was close to everything in the area.
The only thing was the pool was out of service . The time I was visiting.

no coffee machine in the room 😞

Clean and good location.
Bare bones. For nearly $100/night, compared to other places we've stayed, it was lacking. Very tight space-wise. Little accommodation to hang clothes, the bathroom door wouldn't close. The lighting was terrible, way too bright, and we used the bathroom light to watch TV.

Bed was good
Pool was torn up and chainlink fenced in. My room was the end one next to Munras highway, very loud and junk piled up next to it. Homeless guys walking past my car was sketchy. No coffee maker in room. Office entrance was torn up and difficult to get to. My room was half empty. No sofa or chair to watch tv. No bedside lamps. One broken desk chair, unsafe to sit in. Chips out of the door frames.

Broken pool. Parking limited by safety fences around pool. Construction materials stacked outside room. Walls so thin you could hear every noise.

Staff was lovely! Kind and quick to problem solve. Bed was comfy, too.
They are In the middle of remodeling! They should have warned or said something, anything! Parking lot full of construction materials and pool in the middle of being rebuilt. Finding a spot to park was inconvenient. Our room was mid remodel too. Walls weren’t finished and looked dirty. Bathroom was itty bitty. Barely enough room. Toilet worked great.

small and generally quiet
I wish they were more strict about their parking policies. the second night we were there we had to park all the way at the other end of the lot because the other spots were taken. but other than that it was fine.

Clean and well maintained.

Location was good, being right on Munras Ave not too far from Fisherman's Wharf by car. Also, rooms were quiet. We were 2 rooms from the road so I was concerned about road noise, but surprisingly we heard almost no road noise.
Bathroom had a small tequila-sized worm on the floor along with 2 pubic hairs between the toilet and the shower. They are presently undergoing renovations so approx 7 parking spaces are roped off and being used to store construction products like flooring, saw horses, tarps, etc. Also, I asked for an ADA-accessible room for my wife, that request was denied. So we got a room where the parking lot dropped off approximately 9-10 inches onto the sidewalk where your motel room door was. Extremely dangerous with a wheelchair or walker, especially in low-light conditions.

The location was great across from a cute park and not too far from Cannery row.
There was not a blow dryer and the bed was completely dilapidated like craters on each side. The AC hardly worked and there was a show print on the bed spread. The shower had very poor water pressure I could barely get the soap off my skin let alone try to wash my hair.

The bed and big tv
Pool was down
