We always stayed at Hampton Inn growing up because of his service and quality. The past couple Hamptons in other areas were a let down. However the Scottsboro Alabama Hampton Inn was what I remember Hampton Inn being as a child. The property was traditional Hampton Inn expectations and the experience was wonderful! It’s an older Hampton Inn however it beats the past two newer ones I have stayed recently. We were here for my son’s middle school fishing tournament on Mother’s Day weekend and to be a busy time. A guest does have to ask for cleaning service if stay multiple days. That is common since Covid and how many guest are on leisure trips to the lake and may want more privacy. Plus it’s not easy to find good workers. I wanted to sleep in on my first day and they were respectful of that. I just told them when I left for lunch that I was ready for them to clean my room. Friendly service. Room was beyond clean. Staff was super friendly and accommodating (I am a needy guest lol) and it felt like I was staying with friends. The cleaning staff was sweet and she was taking pride in her job. so was the other workers. The pool area was well kept and the property is was like new and inviting. I enjoyed the beautiful rose bushes. in the patio area. The breakfast was a traditional Hampton Inn breakfast but better! Saturdays breakfast was my favorite. Home fried potatoes, fried polish cheese eggs, and cranberry scones plus the oatmeal and waffle bar along with traditional continental breakfast. Sundays was good too. Just not my particular favorites on the hot options. The parking area was well kept. It actually felt like a 3 plus star hotel on the outside The past two locations (Vilano Beach and Hamilton Place in Chattanooga) felt like more like 2 stars. will be recommending the hotel for future stays. this will be our go to when we come for church visits and tournaments in the future when we don’t stay with friends and family.

Nothing I really didn’t like. Like I said. my taste. Hallways were a little musty at first. But it was warm. Air wasn’t on. Later on the hallway was good. It was an unseasonably warm for this area this time of year. so I am sure the temps were not set correctly in the hallway. Same thing on Sunday morning. This is a fishing. town and many guest are fishing on the lake. Knowing the smell I can tell the Oder on some of the hallway Carpet when it was warm in the hallways. but when the air is on couldn’t. smell it. Just basic wear on furniture nothing to be easily managed. I would recommend a once od month detail in the comers and walls. Just like my boys those fisherman can come in dirty and spots happen. This place is so nice I do not want them to get Dinged for anythig. I asked for room service cleaned it didn’t happen but not a big deal. it could have a been a communication issue on my part and I forgot to take my DND stuff off. I left later than expected. I remind the desk clerk on my way to lunch and I am sure the sweet girl meant to go back and fill my request. But could have gotten confused with the sign up. like many places I am sure their cleaning staff is doing their best with the less people to help. but our was there a sweet, super friendly and they were doing their best. They go in and they clean the top to bottom after each guest. I saw this walking by the room next door.  Saturdays fried potatoes could have been cooked a little longer on the larger peiced. I know they cook in bulk so that can be difficult. The bacon on Sunday morning could have been a little crispier for my taste. The hash brown caserole was a little cold in the middle where I scooped from. Could have a been a warmer issue. Like a said. not worth a complaint. it tasted good. Things aren’t perfect no matter how hard we want them to be. overall everything was worth the rate we paid! oh yeah not to the fault of the hotels.

I love that this property is in a central location. The facilities were clean and smelled wonderful!!

It was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was delicious. My absolute favorite part and the main reason I'd book again is the staff. They were so friendly and over-the-top helpful. They treated my family like their family. I felt right at home! Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Honestly, EVERYTHING! It was quick to check in and check out, the pricing was accurate and communication was awesome! The staff definitely need a raise because they are AMAZING! Clean loaned and hospitality are top notch. We stayed here the trip for our wedding and it was honestly one of the highlights!

The staff was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful, choices were many both hot or cold.

Having to find the hotel. Signage needs to be better to make it easier to get to the location. Once you arrive location is very close to shopping and in walking distance to many places to eat.
