All right. Stayed at the Sonesta, LAX and that is one of the reasons I booked it in Naperville.

the hotel was more residential. The staff, when they were at the front desk were helpful and nice.

There is a large time somewhere between 5 and 7 in the evening that the front desk is not manned, therefore no check-ins, questions or concerns could be addressed. I had some people over for a dinner and asked if we could have 2 extra chairs, no problem, but the cushions were really dirty and we needed to put a towel on them before sitting down. In the laundry there were about 5-6 washing machines, but only 2 were working and 1 of the 2 that were working was leaking. From one of the residents, the 3 or 4 out of order machines were brand new, but no maintenance contract was paid for.

Sonesta staff was great!

Victoria and her manager were excellent. There was an issue with Booking.com and they worked with me to get it resolved. Although it took us over 2 hours, they stuck with me to resolve the issue and get my refund from Booking.com.

The associates at booking.com weren’t much help. After 3 different calls and agents, I was finally able to get my refund for one of the rooms that payment didn’t go through to Sonesta. First two Booking.com agents were rather rude and didn’t get me their supervisor as I requested. 2 hours in, I called again and the 3rd agent was able to get me a refund issued in about 10 minutes.

Nice room

Perfect size room. Queen studio suite. Pet friendly for our puppy who travels with us. Clean, quiet.

Everything was great, but Booking.com (not sure why) hadn't transferred our prepaid reservation. We were in kind of panic mode until manager, Anthony figured it all out for us.

It was dirty & unpleasant.

The size of the suite.

Our door handle didn’t work. Looked like a doctors office instead of hotel lobby. Vents in hallways & room very dirty. Carpet in hallway dirty & stained. Needs some serious updates. Not worth what I paid. Luckily, we didn’t spend much time at hotel. Stayed at a Hyatt for same price and was much better with breakfast included. Would not recommend or stay at this chain again.

The Staff was nice

Disappointing for the price Very old worn ugly furniture The baseboard in the bathroom hasn’t been cleaned in quite some time. I mean quite a bit of dust and more build up. The only toilet paper in our room was a half of a roll which obviously was from the last guest. I had to ask for a new roll of toilet paper. We were given 2 sets of towels for my Husband and I for a 4 day stay. We needed new towels and the office stated we needed to bring our dirty ones down to get new ones. No laundry bag, basket or even a trash bag to put the dirty towels in. No associate asked about our trash collecting in our room or needing any item. There was a dusty CD player on the bedside table. Yuk! The dish towels that were on the counter look liked rags.

Wonderful stay, great value for our money!

The room was comfortable and very clean. We liked the full-sized fridge, and if we were staying longer, would have definitely utilized the cooking facilities! Your staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of our keys didn't work right away and they took care of it immediately. The next morning, the same key didn't work and they replaced it without any question.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about our stay.
