NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BUISNESS TRAVEL- YOU WON'T GET AN INVOICE.
It’s difficult for me to even address the conditions of my stay when I was treated with such disrespect and a complete lack of support, as if I were a second-class customer. This is particularly disappointing coming from a Marriott property—a brand I specifically chose because of its esteemed reputation.
Due to a recent change in the way my company reimburses travel expenses, I found myself needing an invoice for my stay. The hotel, however, repeatedly refused to issue one, placing the responsibility on Booking.com. Despite clear information from Booking’s customer service and even on the website itself stating that the hotel is required to provide the invoice, the hotel offered no assistance whatsoever, nor showed any interest in helping resolve the situation. Finally, only after Booking intervened twice, the hotel sent me a document labeled as an “invoice.” However, this so-called “invoice” does not include the necessary details such as the payer’s information or tax identification number, and therefore does not meet the basic criteria of an invoice. They only sent this blurred document through the chat in the app, making it practically unreadable. When I requested a proper invoice to be sent via email, the hotel stopped responding altogether.
In my opinion, this is deceitful behavior, and it prevented me from completing my business travel reimbursement. Is this really how you treat an international guest? If I were back in the U.S., I would escalate this issue further, as the unwillingness to issue a VAT-compliant invoice seems problematic. But being thousands of miles away, I feel powerless. I am both disappointed and embarrassed by this experience.
I assume the hotel might try to justify their refusal by claiming that since I paid through Booking.com, they don’t know the exact amount and therefore can’t issue an invoice.

Breakfast lots of choices and several waffle machines to avoid long waits. Staff in buffet area very friendly and great! The convenience of the free shuttle to O’Hara to catch the train into Chicago.
Difficulty with WiFi - lost connection frequently

The room is quite big, closed to the airport (there is a shuttle for this hotel, very appreciated), there is a train line which connects to Chicago center (50min) and all in all the deal is cheap.
The breakfast is disgusting (meat has strange taste, omelette isn't made with eggs), not environmental friendly (they propose plastic cutlery only) and the room is too small to get a seat for a calm breakfast.

We went as a family and really enjoyed the hotel. The service was excellent. From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were wonderful. I would like to especially thank Michelle, who was very polite, helpful and cheerful, and Zulma, who welcomed us on the first day before our check-in time and was very helpful. She checked us in early so that my children could be accommodated right away. They were wonderful. The breakfast was very good and the staff worked tirelessly to restock everything. The breakfast included hamburgers, eggs, cheese, toast, yogurt, milk, freshly made pancakes, juice, coffee, tea and cake. I thought the breakfast was good. The shuttle service runs every 30 minutes and the drivers are excellent. They dropped us off at the train station every day. The train is 30 minutes from downtown Chicago (Washington Station). The hotel is located on a street with a Marianos supermarket where they have hot food for those who want real food ready, but they also have many varieties of ready meals. On the same street as the hotel there are also 2 pizzerias, 1 Hooters, 1 Dunkin', 1 Seven-Eleven, all within 10 minutes walking distance of the hotel if you don't have a car (which was our case). The pool is heated and clean. The kids loved it. Inside the room everything was clean and there was a mini kitchen without a stove. But there was a minibar, coffee maker, microwave and a sink. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner and body wash of great quality. The bed was very comfortable to sleep in. It was a very good value for money compared to downtown Chicago. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

It was nice their breakfast is phenomenal.
They do don’t do housekeeping every day and the pools only open till nine

It was where I wanted to be and it was clean.
I wasn't told that there would be $30 to park in their parking lot that I paid to stay at the hotel with you. Would think when you pay for a hotel that you would have parking included in your stay, however they're charging for it.

Close to a lot of tourist attractions
There were ants in our room. Nothing done when told about it. We stayed for 4 nights ad but once did housekeeping came, even after we told front desk as we walked out for the day to please have housekeeping come to our room. Our garbage was piled pretty high. Breakfast is not very good. We only ate once and bought own breakfast food. The attendant was not pleasant at all. 9:00 closed no exceptions. Doesn’t matter if you showed up at 8:45 to get food but had to wait in line, 9:00 attendant took the food away

Rooms were spacious with a king size bed and a couch. Breakfast was good.
Air conditioner was outdated with no option to adjust the temperature. Room was too cold for my 60+ year old parents. I called help desk and they said there is no engineer at the premise overnight to fix the issue and have wait till morning 7 am. However until 9am when we checked out nobody came to fix the issue. Not a great service for a branded hotel like Marriot.

Breakfast was great! Room was clean and staff exceptionally friendly and helpful!
Didn't know about $30 per night parking. My fault for missing it but that was the only complaint we had.

Loved the size and location of the room. We didn’t have the bed wall against anyone else and so it was very quiet. Having a kitchenette was super useful. The location was near the airport which we didn’t use but it was in a convenient area for us.
The thermostat was old school being a switch on the wall instead of being digital, which meant it was impossible to get the room a good consistent temperature.
Having to pay for parking also sucks in general.

I asked to have a wake up call. Staff was polite, facilities clean, well lit.
The room temperature never got cool. The thermostats are older, not digital. Even at its coolest, it wasn’t enough.

Pokoje velké a prostorné.

Breakfast buffet was good but standard. Friendly and quick staff -- they were the best. Location was perefect. Check in and check out were both quick. Convenient location. I would stay there again.
Room was snug but efficient, late night snacks were a little lacking, no bottle opener in room

Spacious, quiet and comfortable room, and I loved the opportunity to watch the steady stream of planes coming in to land at O'Hare from my north-facing window. The reception staff was friendly and helpful, and the free breakfast was welcome. There's also a supermarket near Cumberland CTA station and an Outback Steakhouse attached to the hotel, which made dinner easy!
Other than the attached restaurant, there's not much nearby of interest. Cumberland station is a 10- to 15-minute walk along a busy road, but not with heavy luggage as there are a lot of stairs. The hotel also is rather unappealing from the outside, though inside is fine.

Large room. Liked have a small sitting area separate from bed. Comfortable king size bed. Within walking distance to large grocery store and Spuntino Pizza where we had dinner. Free shuttle to/from the airport.
Breakfast buffet underwhelming, nothing fresh, nothing healthy.

This was great for our stay. Great location as well. There are a lot of places to go and see that are very near. Not located in the city but close enough!
There isn't anything I didn't like really. The only thing I could honestly say is the pool was quite smaller than it looked pictured and than I'd imagine. But it was still great! So it wasn't bad.
4.0
Good breakfast free with room. Great airport pickup service, just all them.

location was good.
staff ignores you till they are ready. Room attendants look at you crazy if you ask for as little as a bottle of shampoo, clean towels or lids that actually fit the in-room coffee cups. So don’t bother. No hotel/amenities info in the room, and we had to search for it or ask front desk basic things.
the listed daily parking rate was actually higher than what is advertised online or during booking, as if they raise it when they feel like it.

Breakfast was average.
Bed comfy.
Thought it was a bit overpriced. Right on freeway. Rooms could use paint. Stains on walls
Smell in lobby overpowering.

A bit noisy but it was St Patrick's weekend

Nothing ar all
Dirty carpet in the room. Zink inside the livingroom, so no privacy from others. Too close to highway and train. Hotel receptionist appeared in bad mood, did not welcome you. Seemed indifferent when I cancelled the room after 2 hours. I will never ever come back to this hotel again.
