It was great, as I had expected

Really nice and comfortable, especially since it was a really hot day in Texas 108 degrees.
Found a half eaten bar of candy next to a little round red pill, in a drawer on night stand. Did not give me a warm fuzzy for safety.
4.2
Transportation to the different beach/pool areas was convenient.

Breakfast was good. The surprise RESORT FEE of 45 per day is terrible.
Not paying a daily resort fee
4.2
The serene views and beautiful property
the fact I was in a room next to screaming kids after 11 and before 7. Restaurant was ok.
4.2
Beautiful grounds and very clean accommodations.

The staff were very welcoming and professional. The breakfast buffet had great options and was very good. WiFi was strong throughout the resort, pillows and bedding were comfortable. Layout of the resort was well done. The putting course was a nice addition and the hot tub is very big and really hot. A nice bonus after a long day.
I work in the hospitality and leisure field so I totally understand the rhyme and reason on why things are the way they are. I accept and understand some of the issues I am going to list. I guess if I did not pay what I did, I would not mention most of these. With that being said, for the amount the resort charges and an additional $20 a day resort fee per person, you would think the standards of service would be a bit higher. Okay, here we go....The A/C controls in the room resulted in the A/C running the entire time (you could turn it off, but it would get hot and humid quick) The room was humid due to not being able to open a window. The shower door had a leak somewhere and the water flooded the floor after a 5-10 minute shower. The water pressure on the 6th floor was weak and took longer to rinse soap off than expected. The resort staff acted a bit unprofessional when we asked how to coordinate a ride to the airport. They basically said "we don't do that" unless it is coordinated a few days out. They gave us a list of local drivers that charged us $175 for a one way trip for two people. It was very stressful trying to coordinate a ride last minute not knowing if we would make our flight. I guess it is partially our fault, but for a high end resort, I feel like if I were one of the higher status guests or complained, they would have been more helpful. They had multiple vehicles and staff willing to make the trip, but essentially they said they don't do that unless scheduled in advance. Prices of food was high which is understandable staying with the cost of goods, but the alcohol drinks were much higher than they should have been or needed to be. Hot dog and bag of chips was $13. When checking out, we were told by one staff member that we could use the pool and shower until we left, but the day before a staff member did not mention there was a locker room with showers we could use.

Wonderful resort for a long weekend getaway. Everything you need amd want to enjoy is right here. You won't have to get back in your car until you leave!
We have been coming here for over 10 years. The prices have gone sky high on everything from room costs to golf fees.

the location is good and the facilities are great
the AC condition is out of control and the temperature inside the room was super cold. the second room we charged was super noisy because the toilet kept linking all the time.

The property was beautiful! It was not overcrowded and the staff and service were top notch.
The food was very expensive and didn’t have enough healthy options in my opinion.
4.2
The putting course was very cute and interesting; it's $11/person (50% off) between 3-5pm every day. The staff was very friendly. The fitness center was open 24 hours/day and was well-appointed.
The restaurant was one of the most expensive in the area; you are definitely paying a premium for convenience. We wished there were more places to eat within the resort. Aside from Keurig in the room, there is only one place to get a quick coffee in the hotel and the servers don't always know what they're doing. If you miss your allotted time for cleaning in the morning, you have to call to get your room serviced. Room service automatically charged a service fee and tip to the order, making it about 50% more expensive than the listed menu price. The only place to refill water bottles was in the fitness center, which was a 5 minute walk away from the main hotel.

The lighting was not significant enough in the bathroom for makeup and the bedroom was dim. We only had one faucet that worked in the bathroom.

Exceptional staff and nice property.
The resort fees are quite high and are not shown in the total rate. I didn’t notice them until we checked in.

the staff is amazing! Such as beautiful property in beautiful Texas Hill Country.
4.2
Excellent breakfast buffet, on-site restaurants, pool, hot tub, bird sanctuary, mini putt golf, and tennis courts. Also, with your stay you get free access to the yacht club pool, hot tub (the biggest in Texas), and club restaurants.
Can't say.....I come every year because it is the perfect getaway near Austin.

Amenities, beautiful landscape. Zen garden needs updating but still beautiful for morning and evening walk. Myfriends and I spent a day in the spa. It’s all worth it. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
they need to update their TV in the rooms, they are not SMART TV’s. tried to stream some shows in the evening/night, hard to set up, a staff helped , he called for help on the site and even that didn’t help, finally gave up on that. We were out more during the day to enjoy the facilities., so it was not big deal.
4.2
hospitality! everyone was so nice and helpful.
Great for relaxing but not enough activities if you want to do anything other than golf or swim.
4.2
The new aqua park for kids made the stay worth while for my children, the buffet price was good for kids, but everything else was way over priced and the food at the yacht club was average.
The room was average and way over priced along with everything else.
