practically a private beach , yet walking distance to all the best locations

this place was a great surprise, most places are a let down from what they appear to be online, this was the opposite, perfect location, great scenery, great value

Will definitely stay again.

Property met all expectations. Facilities were in great condition, bed was extremely comfortable, mini fridge actually worked Parking was easy. Close to everything. Staff was amazing. Greg at the front desk was awesome.

Our stay was ok.

The views, the fire pits and the location. The morning staff was very helpful.

Our room was very hot and the windows would not stay up unless we put towels in the window. The front desk person from the hours of 3pm and 11pm had no clue what they were doing.

Our stay was fantastic:comfortable beds, an ideal location near the ocean and restaurants.

The room was super spacious and had really comfy beds, so we slept like babies all night. The location was awesome, super close to the ocean and lots of great restaurants. The property itself was huge with plenty of spots to chill out and enjoy ocean views.

Dieses Zimmer ist einfach nur ein Traum. Ich habe noch nie was schöneres gesehen. Leider sind wir nur 1 Tag hier aber ich weiss das ich wieder kommen werde und dann sicherlich für mehrere Tage. Einfach der pure Wahnsinn

Da gibt es nichts was uns nicht gefallen hat.

Wonderful, attentive staff. Clean grounds. Great value.

I wish there were more signs about not smoking on the property. People were smoking near the fire pits and the smell seeped into my room. I did call management and they were helpful. Women were smoking on the bench outside near the parking lot.

Bei gutem Wetter unschlagbar schön

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt kann man wunderschön direkt vorne an den Klippen sitzen und hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und den Pier von Pismo Beach. Es gibt eine Treppe zum Strand runter. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet, haben einen kleinen Tisch mit 2 Stühlen und einen Gaskamin, welcher das Zimmer schnell erwärmt. Das Bad ist klein aber ok. Es gibt einen kleinen Pool und einen Whirlpool von dem man auch ein bisschen aufs Meer schauen kann wenn man groß genug ist ;-) Der kostenlose Parkplatz ist auch für größere SUVs ausreichend.

Das Frühstücksangebot war eher unansprechend und sehr teuer.

Would love to spend a week here!

Right at the waters edge on a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Choose to do the upgrade for an oceanfront room with a patio and it was well worth it. Room was well appointed with a fireplace that actually heated the room and and the bed was comfortable with full size pillows!

The ceiling fan needed to be cleaned before the warm weather sets in and the toilet is very low which makes it somewhat difficult for us older folks to get up after sitting!

This place has so much possibility, but was very disappointing.

The location is beautiful and cozy. The fire pits are great in the location for the walk is great.

I didn't like the baby rat or the very large mouse... i'm not sure which one it was... outside my back door. That walkway was dirty especially & unkept. The rat was in the walkway for hours from 10 at night to nine in the morning. I also didn't like the spider crawling in my bed at eight in the morning or the spiderwebs along the ceiling & fireplace. The bathroom door was dirty. There were kids outside running up and down the sidewalk at 6:30 in the morning where was obnoxious. Also, we were charged four dollars for black coffee that used to be free a few months ago & the coffee was horrible.

Cottage Inn by the Sea is your no-brainer choice in Pismo Beach

This hotel is spacious, both the property and the room. There are enough parking lots in the property so that there is no difficulty for tourists driving along the CA highway No. 1 to find free parking space. There is also a beautiful garden and a (small) swimming pool behind the property so that guests can take a seat and enjoy the sea view there. The room is comfortable and clean. There is an electric fireplace inside the room which is cool. We booked a sea-view room and it’s amazing to see the Pacific ocean from the room and go to sleeping while listening to sound of ocean waves.

Nothing in all. One thing I noticed is that I did not find an air conditioner in the room but a huge fan hung in the ceiling. I wonder whether the fan can cool the room in the hot summer.

I’d do It again

Not only are they super nice, they upgraded my room for a good price! They serve Starbucks coffee! My room was now ocean front with a fire pit directly outside. They offer stores packages for 15$ & you can walk down the beach from the stairs

They fire pits turn off at 10, I wouldn’t have minded waiting a 30 minute cool down here and there… but I wanted to hang out and enjoy the beach longer, I only stayed on night.

Lage bzw. Anlage des Gartenbereichs. Parkplätze vorhanden.

Renovierte Zimmer nur gegen Aufpreis. Fenster der ‚neuen‘ Zimmer leider total verdreckt, fast ohne Möglichkeit der Aussicht. Klimaanlage ohne Funktion. Am Tag des Checkouts fluten fast stündlich Mails/SMS rein, die an das Auschecken erinnern sollen. Als Gast hatte ich dadurch das Gefühl schnell abgewickelt werden zu sollen. Kein tolles Willkommensgefühl - ggf. durch den Besitzerwechsel. Kein Frühstück inklusive-alles kostet extra.

The filthy room I got and the noise from the freeway 101 and highway I felt like I was sleeping outside. Didn’t rest Was the worst experience so far in my life dealing with Front Desk Employees while traveling/ checking in On my check out a young lady was working a blonde one she was nice very nice who had more ideas about how to talk with the clients and how to treat them.

Terrible! Staff isn’t doing their job! Cleanliness is a must! Don’t stay here!

Location is great! If you don’t mind being kept up by all the seagull noise. Watch your step! The entire parking lot is covered in seagull poop and you’ll take home some samples on your car as well.

Complimentary Breakfast is longer included. We had carpet in our room that was filthy , smelled horrible! And don’t look under the beds because that hasn’t been vacuumed in a loooong time.

We were offered an amazing upgrade that was such blessing! Very relaxing get-away!I will return with friends.

The rooms facing the water! Fireplace adds a nice touch. Being right above the shoreline with amazing views. The only room I will suggest for future stays is facing the water….upstairs! Fire pits for residents were wonderful!

Needs some upgrade, carpet, windows were difficult to open. Pool is too small for the size of complex, so alittle disappointing but can’t change that. The kids took over pool & Jacuzzi! Lightening in the bathroom was terrible.

The views are fabulous, the room was adequate.

The screens on the windows were old and needed replacing the windows were filthy. The shower needed a good deep clean. You have to ask for everything everyday if you stay for more than a day.
