Very quiet and enjoyable

Location. Space.

fireplace didn't work. Sort of a sewer smell in the bathroom. No grab bars on the tub. Had difficulty getting out.

Lovely quiet stay.

The room was newly renovated and very comfortable. It was quiet even with construction happening upstairs. The bed was a bit too soft for me, but others may like it. The big soaking bathtub was great. We booked massages, and they were terrific.

The fridge in the room was too small to hold more than a couple bottles of water. Our restaurant leftovers didn’t even fit. The so called wellness center was a bit of a joke. Small, lukewarm hot tub on the deck and a small steam room. Not really a spa. Needs upgrades. The breakfast was a complete joke. Not even worth it.

Great stay, great location, and close to the beach!

The location was great! We were close to the beach, nice restaurants, coffee houses, and Hearst Castle; which we visited. The hotel was lovely, cozy and had a great room with a fireplace, leather sofas, king size bed, mini fridge, iron and ironing board, very roomy bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with good jets, a shower, and A/C. Parking was underneath the hotel, elevator in parking to get to our room, and they have wine on tap in the lobby. I didn’t use it, but for anyone else warning a glass of red or white wine it’s a nice convenience. We will return.

Great place to relax and enjoy the lovely beaches of Cambria CA.

mostly everything was great. we plan to be back to enjoy more of what you offer soon.

light switch was hard to find in room. no directions given of the hotel. would of loved to of had a brochure with a map of board walk and area favorites to go see.

We loved our stay at your motel. This is our third time coming back. The room is beautiful, beds are so comfortable and staff is great! We highly recommend El Colibri!

Overall we really liked this place, loved the grounds and how close it is to the beach!

We loved the location which is a short walk to Moonstone Beach and to restaurants.

Our room smelled like feet or pet so we aired it out and went for a walk. On our way out we casually mentioned it to Lisa at the front desk and when we came back she offered to move us into a different room down the hall. We accepted the move and the room smelled fresh!

Very good

The room was spacious and quiet. Nice bathtub and large bathroom. Close to Moonstone beach but not on the beach. Covered parking.

The wine bar was a disappointment they were out of red wine. The snacks were all prepackaged nothing fresh available, except apples. I booked this hotel because of the spa, I called a couple of weeks in advance to book massages for me and my husband and there was no availability. Limited spa appointments.

One night getaway, and wanted to stay longer.

We loved almost EVERYTHING about this hotel. No complaints!

Could hear a dog barking, but that is more of another guest's ability to control their dog, than anything else. Really no problems!

The location was great

Really noisy room. From street noise, people walking around upstairs and an air conditioning unit that kicked in every 10 minutes and sounded like you had a 737 in your room. Absolutely no sleep the whole time. Add to this the bar that was meant to open at 4 buy opened at 6.

Except for the mattress, it was a good place to stay for a night on our trip south.

The hotel is in a nice quiet location immediately off Hwy 1, easy to find. Friendly staff and clean accommodations.

Our kingsize bed had a very soft mattress, which was not very comfortable.
