Views and rooms comfortable. Food excellent!
The drive up the coast, thought we were going to drive off cliff..terrible drive. Had many drinks when we got to hotel.

Gorgeous setting overlooking the ocean. Beautiful facility with great amenities. Very comfortable room. Great restaurant. Very friendly and accommodating staff at front desk - the room we were first offered had an obstructed view and when I asked if they could change it we were upgraded for free.
It’s expensive- definitely a splurge. But really worth it.

Beautiful location and beautiful lodge. Super pet friendly and welcoming to our dog daughter. Complementary wine tasting when we arrived and live music the follow day.
Unfortunately, without knocking and waiting to see if we were there, the cleaning staff opened our room at 3:40pm to clean; we had just returned from being out all day to chill before going out again and my partner was standing just outside the bathroom (right in front of our room door) naked when they opened it. When they returned to clean our room later they tossed out some of our personal toiletries - unsure if they thought they were garbage.

What a location!! The view from the front situated bedroom was awesome!
It was really cool vibe with a record player and lots of vinyl to choose from, board games and table tennis pool etc near the fire pit.
Timber Cove Resort was like the ultimate grown ups camp.
Loved it!!

Amazing cliff top set above the Pacific ocean. Lots of great hiking trails. Cozy lodge style atmosphere with great drinks and amazing food..
Our room (#2) was directly above the kitchen. The exhaust fan or something in the kitchen causes resonance that can only be heard when you put your head on the bed making it easily missed by management but hard for guests to sleep.

gorgeous and most beautiful view. good food
pricey and when we got our bill we saw we were charged extra tax of $67 for “transient tax”, so we ended up with a total of $100 just fr taxes. for that reason we probably won’t return

very quite and relaxing lodge love the outdoor fire pits and sitting in the lodge in front of the fireplace having a latte. Nice room with a beautiful view of the ocean from a deck.

The Timber Cove staff are so friendly. I love the family vibe around there. The location of the hotel is incredible and our room did have a sweeping view of the ocean, as promised.
We paid the same price as our friends for our room, but theirs was *considerably* nicer with a sitting area, a bed facing the ocean an a nicer area to enjoy the morning beverages and record player. Our room was cramped and had a poor layout...also it was a bit worn out. A fine economy room but not at all aligned with the $700+/night charge.

Restaurant, particularly staff. Our dinner host seemed much more intent on selling us more food than ensuring we had a good time.

This lodge exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was large and comfortable, with a sweeping view of the coast. The lobby and restaurant were spacious and inviting, and the food was excellent. After dinner we joined other guests around a cozy outdoor gas fire. There was also live music - a quiet but talented folksinger. When one arrives at a place like this after bicycling 35 miles with a 30-pound touring load, what else could one ask for?
The vinyl lending library is a clever idea, but the phonograph in the room didn't work.

We thought the dinner was so-so: not a lot of fish choices, which was odd, given its location....and generally not great. My salad was remarkably boring and so were the Rilettes. However, my husband loved the pork chop.....Your chef needs to up his/her game, especially these days! Why not have more seafood on the menu?? We were really looking forward to an array of good seafood......

Excellent location, unique style, good restaurant
Noisy room location above "The Big Room" activities lasted til late in the evening. On a Monday night!
Mold in between the shower tiles, supplies not restocked, deck cobwebs, and that I had to climb stairs to a loft bed. Didn't see that part when booking, but Forest Room has a circular staircase. (I am mobility challenged.) I took it only because I had to overnight there and it was the only room available.

We really enjoyed the beautiful location, absolutely stunning ocean views and aesthetically pleasing interiors. The beds were very comfortable and cozy. The trails were so beautiful to walk in the morning.
The staff there were incredibly rude at check in; there was no helpful information that was provided whatsoever aside from literally where our room was and getting our credit card information. When we were trying to ask some questions after dinner (like basic questions) the lady at the front desk looked at us with such disdain and avoided eye contact (?!) and I had to actually ask if she was working there. When I asked, the guy next to her scoffed. Honestly, for the amount of money that we paid for, I expected a friendlier or nicer front? It put such a bad taste in my mouth I could not even enjoy being in that beautiful place with my mom, celebrating her birthday. That being said, the staff next morning were normal and nice. The vibe at the place was overall incredibly cold and not welcoming at all. Such a shame.

Location, architecture and view are everything.
Very pet-friendly - our dog made a lot of new doggy friends.
Room was smaller than expected and more basic. Simple things like cushions and blankets for patio chairs not supplied. No way to shut out all the morning light. Staff (except for the waiting staff in the restaurant) seemed distracted and inattentive both days. We arrived late for check-in and still had to wait over half an hour for the room to be got ready.

lovely property. lovely staff. gorgeous location.
the food and beverages were incredibly expensive for the quality. the pet supplement was a bit extreme at $150 with no dog bowls or bed or any other supplies provided.

The prices have gone up considerably since we were there last. The value was okay, but it has gotten quite expensive.

We loved everything about the hotel. Room was nice, the views were exceptional, staff was friendly and very helpful. Lots of little things that made our stay memorable: delicious hot chocolate and cider in the lobby, LP player in the room... The restaurant doesn't have a large menu, but food there is very good.
