Was a comfy stay better than the previous time when we stayed there.

Nice lobby, great location
My room smelled like mold. I could see mold in bathroom celling and i got a headache after sleeping there. The ac wasnt lowering even when we upped the temperature, it was freezing.

Restaurant downstair was perfect.

An acceptable hotel that had a nice range of facilities and was a good middle of the road stay. Vast majority of the staff were great - it was rare to encounter the "problem staff." Really great guy who does the airport transfers and cheerful housekeeping staff. I enjoyed the restaurant food and there were some bar staff that went "above and beyond" for me. Little pool area was cute but a bit neglected.
There is not much of a price difference at the Hilton nearby and that gives you a far more modern/luxury stay and is on the conference centre site. I think it could have been better value for money.

The property was gray. We weren’t able to explore the whole thing but we enjoyed ed our stay.

the bistro on the property was so good for a quick lunch or dinner! the pool area was awesome and the staff was so friendly especially Sean and Savannah!! would deff stay again
wish it was closer to restaurants and nightlife. it’s about a 10 min walk which isn’t bad but sometimes when your in the Florida heat / unpredictable rain you want something right there

better than 3*. good pool and nice staff. comfy bed and nice bathroom.
the amenities in the room are a little tired (such as the 10 year old radio alarm clock and no usb port power sockets. they got our room wrong 2 times and blamed that I booked through booking.com.
eventually got the correct room despite them saying they’d actually upgraded us?

Close proximity of downtown WPB and good amenities
Chef needs lessons on how to cook good French Toast. Too much traffic noise.

The dinning room and front desk staff were excellent.
The rooms are very tired. The cleaning staff is up early and talks and yells at each other outside your door

Only 1 thing went well. The Caesar salad was good.
Our visit to the West Palm Beach, FL Marriot on October 17, 2022 was very disappointing.
First, the parking lot entrance felt and looked like a prison entrance without the guards.
There is a metal box next to two gates blocking your entrance. You have to push a button to get a receipt for parking.
Then you drive around the hotel and look for a parking spot.
No one to help with luggage and no one to say hi at the entrance. Seems weird for a 4 star hotel.
We received check-in by a 6’ 7” man who was lazy and unhelpful.
He just said, give me your drivers license. Place your card in the reader.
He did not even look at me. It was not “Hi welcome to the Marriott.” How can I help you?
He did not explain where my room was located, the hours of the restaurant (snack bar), or where the amenities are located.
Now I know we should not even be here.
I paid $840 for 1 night at a listed 4-star hotel and got a 2-star hotel at best.
Other guests paid ½ or less since they were with a large group.
The hallway to the room was maybe 7’ high (low and old). This hotel is at least 50 years old.
The room had furniture from the 70’s and 80’s. No upgrades except the TV.
Concierge was pitiful. They had free peanuts, water and soda. That is it. You could buy a glass of wine for $10 but that is what is cost downstairs in the bar.
The food offered in the Bistro was really just a snack bar. They offered flat bread, wings, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and salads. The flat bread we ordered is really just a pizza. They clearly do not know what flat bread is. The caesar salad was good and the fried brussel sprouts were under cooked and wet.
I politely talked with the Marriott manager during check out and he did not do anything for me. He just said I will tell my supervisor and he will call you because he is not here. Guess what, 3 days later I have not received a simple call.
I have been staying at Marriott hotels for over 40 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had.
