The property was just ok. Nothing special about it. The price led me to believe it was going to be a lot nicer.
The service was slow. The beach chairs by the pool were reserved and you had to pay for them to use… we were charged a resort fee and then paid extra to have a chair by the pool. Just gross. We stayed a night and ended up with a $809 bill for one adult and 2 kids… not worth it at all.

Everything was extraordinary... the service at the pool and beach were beyond words.
The breaksfast at Maia didnot meet expectations.. the a la carte eggs Benedict I ordered were excellent bu t the prices of the buffet did not meet the quality of the food.

I thought that the staff was extremely professional, helpful and very good at their jobs. I also felt everything was very clean and organized.
Our room cost upwards of $1000 per night and we had to wait in line like fools for a chair around the pool. It seems that either the hotel is overbooked or someone needs to figure out how to assure that each guest is given equal opportunity for a seat at the pool or beach. Each day I was there I had to wait in line before my family woke up so that we could have a seat. I watched multiple people, take control of multiple lawn chairs and then never returned for the entire day. It seems the system is rigged and felt a bit elitist. The chairs and the accommodations, including the cleanliness of the bathrooms was exceptional. But along with other guests, we were speaking with, we cannot figure out why the heck you would have to wait in line for lawn chairs, and then not enforce the rule about needing to be present at least most of the day. We saw many people, frustrated and angry because they couldn’t find somewhere . What kind of hotel has such an expensive rate but then does not guarantee you have a seat by the pool that you paid for?

Beach - awesome - white sand, blue water, clean. Pools - very nice but overly crowded. Restaurants - overall very good but could use a few more for variety. The 10k Alley was a great addition for all ages.
I was with my wife and son (age 16). Normally i expect this to be a great alignment for a JW level property. However, this particular property was more appropriate for much younger kids. They were everywhere and not well managed by their parents. Also, there were a lot of non-guests on the property - primarily pool areas. On an already crowded property this adds to the congestion and scarcity of pool seating.

The beach was beautiful.
When I have paid to have the use of a hotel's facilities I don't expect to have to pay more for a sunlounger in a "premium position".

Availability of chairs and umbrella for beach, towels for pool/beach
Food in all restaurants is too pricey
Staff is not as professional (not to say rude) and respectful as they used to be.
Hotel was too crowded, to get chairs in pool/beach you have to go down by 8am on weekends
We lost 3 personal items and they were not able to place them in lost/found, did not even care about it
Good and beautiful hotel but $45 for resort fee+$35 for parking daily was not worth it.

Beach was beautiful, we spent most of our time on the beach. Service was great in the restaurants and on the beach. The kids loved 10K alley, overall it was a good expereince.
The pools were small and crowded - while there were plenty of loungers they were so close together you were on very familiar terms with your neighbouring lounger. It was often hard to get four together and they were almost always in the shade, there was no space to move. We really struggled with the food I think this is more indicative of American food generally rather than the hotel itself. It was very hard to get fresh fruit and vegetables and everything comes in sauce. It would have been great if there had been a lounge, terrace and bar where you could sit at night as a family and socialise after dinner, there was only 10K alley which is great but only if you want to hang out at an arcade and bowling alley or a bar and terrace for over 21's which isn't great if you're travelling with two teenagers.

Beautiful hotel. Room size was spacious. Variety of choices for food and drinks. Plenty of umbrellas available on the beach.
Hotel is very expensive. We only stayed one night and had a ‘tropical view’. We had room close to the end and our view was of a pool, roof and stairwell. Because we were barely in our room I did not ask to change. But after parking, taxes and fees, $700+ is excessive for no view.

Amazing hotel. Beautiful views, and beach. Food was great!!
Hard trying to find a spot at the pool bc people leave towels and go to the beach

The property is nice but be prepared to walk a lot. Room was good sized but after multiple requests, we never got the additional bed and our son had to sleep with us each night.
Overrated for sure. very expensive and there were not that many great things for kids. The kids pool had only one small slide nothing that equals the marketing. The beach is huge, long way to the water from the priority. kids game area was fun, but prizes were very disappointing and you would have to play for days and $$$$$ to get a football.

The beach is gorgeous, the kids love the pool, you can’t beat the location and sunset views.
Service was seriously lacking. I had to request extra towels 3 times over 8 hours before they actually brought them. The pool server came around one time the entire time we were at the pool.
