Enjoyable and very happy that I have a nice place to return to when I visit the area again.

Staff was welcoming and professional. After we were give our room key the desk agent told us about the amenities that were available to us as guest. Room was a good size, plenty of lighting and good AC/heating.

Minor things that I would say aren't a cause for dislike. The room lacked a safe (not required for our 1 night); USB ports could be available on both sides of the bed; the ironing board was very dated and I felt bad that it couldn't be collapsed to be put away. Last thing, the mattress was to soft for my comfort level.

Nice hotel with amazing gym and free parking

Our stay was very good. The gym was huge and amazing. Also the free parking was nice.

We paid 31 dollars for 2 waters and 2 little fruit juices in the lobby, which seemed like a lot.

Great Week at Rennaisance!

Breakfast was awesome! Great service in restaurant. Bay Club was outstanding!

Front desk knew nothing of sites to see, directions etc. Could be better prepared. I'm from east coast traveling west... had to google everything myself.

Unacceptable treatment

The swimming pool featured in the marketing images is not actually at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel and BayClub fitness. These promotional materials are deceptive. Additionally, the staff lack proper training, resulting in inconsistent enforcement of policies and procedures. During my visit, my family and I experienced public racial discrimination. It seems the hotel covertly supports such behaviors under a "fly under the radar" policy, prioritizing discriminatory practices. I strongly advise taking your business elsewhere and steering clear of the Marriott Renaissance Walnut Creek Hotel.

Quiet rooms. Comfortable beds. Good hotel security.

I think the menu at the Citrus restaurant should be expanded a bit.

Probably would return if I were to come back to the area.

Everything was very nice: location, staff, accommodations and surroundings.

Restaurant breakfast food was mediocre at best and it seemed like there was not enough help in the restaurant. One person was doing several jobs which affected the service.

Decent accommodation conveniently located the highway.

Very pleasant staff afforded us an early check-in. Room was the standard hotel variety but comfortable. Meal at the affiliated “the Club” restaurant on-site was healthy and very good.

“The Club” shares the premises with the hotel and controls the parking lot used by guests. Parking is not conveniently located to hotel entrance and tends to be quite busy with The Club guests. Did not use The Club facilities as they appeared to be in full use by members. Restaurant is a bit of a “scene” with Club members wandering in and out of the bar area, many semi-clothed. Walnut Creek in general and hotel in particular seems to be very car centric, making trips and exploration of the area on foot impractical.

Can't go back because beds are just horrible

Good location, great workout Facility bathrooms were clean and updated

The beds… These beds needed to be thrown away a decade ago. Completely collapsed and sunk in. They threw pillow toppers on each to hide the fact the beds are horrible

Hotel makes me feel like Im on vacation while I am there for work. Enjoy the spa .

The location for my work is good. I liked my facial. Food was good service at the restaurant was a little slow.

Towels could be softer.

Healthy and delicious breakfast that was complimentary due to some confusion about the package. Large gym with many exercise options was a bonus. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was great.

The stay was comfortable

The rooms were good , very spacious bathroom with all required facilities. The gym and swimming pool is excellent . Staffs were very cooperative and polite.

The breakfast was never ready by 6 AM. The food is costly compared to local restaurants . Room cleaning was not done regularly and tea / coffee not refilled - had to get those from the reception. There is not much options to eat outside.

Beautiful facility. Lousy dining.

Very clean, upscale, nice rooms and nice staff.

The breakfast package is simply lousy. The staff doesn’t keep the buffet loaded, the food is not hot, and there is no variation. It is also understaffed, so that we would ask for something as simple as a bagel(which the bin was out of) and after ten minutes would have to do so again since it wasn’t delivered. An expensive price for a very mediocre morning meal.

I didn't have breakfast but the dinner I ordered was very good. The bar staff was amazing and friendly very kind and attentive.

The property was very nice. Great pool and gym. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very nice, though it was plagued by awful HVAC noise at night that sounded like a prop plane. Staff tried to find an alternative room for me, but inadvertently ended up double charging me for both rooms.

Your pool area is over crowded with bay club day users. Which gives hotel guest no where to relax. The staff at bay club was not helpful or friendly. Hotel front desk wasn’t very welcoming. No info given at check in about your pool requirements ( wristbands) All of this for a price that you would pay at a real hotel that had room service.

We were not happy.

Didn't have breakfast.

We were there for 3 nights. We have stayed at the hotel last Dec. also. We requested housekeeping daily on the early checkin form . Housekeeping never came. We had to request clean towels that arrived late. Then the front desk person was rude to me when I told her what happened. She told me you have to request housekeeping the night before each day and said all the hotels are doing this. Margot Kaufman

The property was beautiful. Staff was excellent! Very friendly very professional very helpful.

I loved the lobby. We sat in one of the sitting areas, had coffee watching people and doggies! It really seemed as if your staff liked working there. An all around good vibe.
