I didn’t like the fact that the plumbing was bad . I the hotel wasn’t comfortable. The smell was weird I tried to switch rooms they were the same .

The front desk employee, April is our favorite person. She’s always smiling and makes us feel special. We have stayed here so many times, she knows our name when we check in. I told her she’s the reason we like staying at this hotel.
We always have a great stay at this hotel, but unfortunately not this time. We arrived at 7 pm and all of the first floor rooms were booked, and those rooms are really nice. We had a second floor outside room and it was really sad. All of the lamp shades were bent, no tissues, no dirty clothes bag, no do not disturb sign for the door and the toilet would hardly flush. By the time we got back from dinner, it was late and we didn’t want to go back to the office for a plunger. The next morning we got a plunger, but it didn’t flush. We turned in the room card and told the front desk we were sorry but the toilet was backed up. This is the very first time we’ve ever had a problem after staying here more than 4 times a year, for many years.

our favorite thing about this facility is the front desk representative, April. She is so sweet and always remembers us. she knows exactly where we like to stay. Our second thing we like is the location.

The breakfast was very good. The staff was super friendly. The bed was comfy.
Our room had a chemical smell to it that caused a headache. The deadbolt on the door was semi torn off the wall so the door wasn’t fully secure.

There were doors being slammed shut on the second floor which was had a outside entrance, we were on the third floor which our entrance was inside. Also they missed on day of servicing our room, and one day I had to go to the front desk to get hand towels and face cloths. They put none of these in our bathroom. When we arrived the bathroom had hair in it in places.

Bed was comfortable, tv and heater worked.
Room was very outdated, peeling paint and mold in bathroom. Towel rack feel off the wall. Shower faucet would not entirely keep water from dripping. TV remote was so dirty we used a wash rag to try to clean it and wrapped it in a paper towel to use it. Dehumidifier bucket was full of mold, doors were dirty. The room window had one pain completely broken out.
Most of breakfast was not good. Coffee, waffles
and bananas were ok.

The staff was super rude. The lady that checked us in at night was super rude. The entire hotel smells like weed. Sink didn’t drain. Terrible. And I got charged $189 to my Amex when the room said $119 on website. So hidden charges. We left after one night !

i did not like the first room and I was switch to another one better than the first no questions asked
the first room I was given smelled musty, old motel smell and looked old and nasty. it was a non-smoking room but someone had smoked there the night before and neither the TV or the phone were working. I complained to the front desk and I was given a room in the third floor newly renovated, clean and very nicely decorated. it seems this motel is under renovation but they are still trying to squeeze money from the run down rooms

The only thing I liked was that the bed was king size.
The bathtub was dirty and with hair, the toilet seat was very bad and I will upload a picture. The whole room smell so bad and there is no window to open. The breakfast was a joke. At least they had bananas and peanut butter which I then we went for breakfast somewhere else.

Bugs crawling in the bed I have video..mold infested..I have pictures..hair in and on tub..it smelled moldy when you walk in ..room needs full renovation...whole experience was gross...left as soon as we checked in what a waste of money and time

Room was clean and the bed was very comfortable; While the decor is a bit dated, there were no issues like a musty carpet smell or problems with bugs, etc. Overall, housekeeping does a fine job keeping it clean and welcoming.
I worked in Hospitality many years ago and was always aware of the importance of the guest's "First Impression". I had a Clean up Kit- Windex bottle with a wet rag and a dry polishing rag that I used every day before I settled into my crossword book; Here at the Baymont, the Coffee Bar was filthy- weeks of daily use without any wipe-down. Five minutes with a Clean up Kit and it could have had it proudly presentable; Same with the lobby exit doors- layers of dirt on the frame where you push to open the door. In this time of heightened germ & virus awareness, "Clean Matters" and guests notice when it's not. A few minutes of daily cleaning will change the company culture and everyone will take a bit more pride in where they work! And guests will also notice- they will have a bit more respect for the property as well.
