Good location and clean
Light switch in the bathroom was wonky and had to turn it on and off several times to make it work.
Also signs in the parking lot saying “we are not responsible for stolen property” made it feel unsafe.
Breakfast was sad. Bagels with no cream cheese only a few packets of butter. No jelly for toast and overall few options on a Saturday morning.

The location was very suburban chill relaxed. Near popular restaurants and convenience stores
Breakfast was gross. Non flavorful. Very bland need variety and choices

Local
Our room the manager checked us into early morning turned out to have feces in the flooring and they knew about it but just sprayed deortorizer when we called that evening after traveling 10 hrs and being out all day. We smelled it after the temperatures heated up. We didn’t notice it immediately because in the morning we would leave and not come back until late at night except one day and this is when the smell was obvious during the day because Wisconsin is cold in morning.
Terrible management rude and called police because we asked to be compensated for the housekeeping manager was the only one who tried to help but it was after 3 days of going back and forth she said we need to get you out of that toxic room. We moved on the 4 th day

Manager was accommodating to issues we had with room.
The pool was broken and that was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel.

Nice furnishings and decor .. employees were ALL very nice ..great towels and shower supplies ..nice breakfast.. too bad it couldn’t be kept hotter somehow
Noisy at times.. our room was right on the driveway and heard cars and people coming in and out too much.. plus a bar type place next door..t.v was either really hard to figure out or wasn’t working right. Swimming pool did not work and we were not told that when booking the room. All said it would have been worth the price if the pool worked

Check in time was 3:00. We got there at 2. No rooms ready. They did not check us in until 5. Went out and got bac to the room and saw a cock roach walking across the bed sheets.

Clean quiet.
Was a great stay honestly, untill it wasn't. Staff was very friendly. However..... being charged 6 bucks to park in a lot of a hotel where I paid 250 to stay two nights .... ridiculous. As part of my itemized bill prior to check out, it was shown the parking was paid as part of my room....still shouldn't have to pay to park. Then I'm charged for it AGAIN as condition of my check out..... And at 447am, someone from the hotel front desk tried to charge my card for an unspecified 10 bucks. Asked the front desk clerk and she played dumb and said she had no idea, yet her face, and mannerisms said otherwise. Fortunately my card was off. Nice room, but don't stay here unless you want double charged for crap parking, and dishonest front desk clerks trying to steal your money.

You screwed everything up by failing to notify me the hotel had cancelled the reservation. Had to travel south into Illinois to find a room

very poor breakfast

The breakfast was fine; they made an extra effort on the weekend. The desk staff was friendly and quick to help resolve problems (which there were!). We liked the exercise room.
One of the reasons we chose the hotel was for the pool. It was closed. That should have been announced on the website. Room service was spotty at best. We arrived to two almost empty rolls of toilet paper and they were not replenished the next day. If room service is going to be every 3 days, toilet paper, coffee supplies, etc should be automatically provided for the three days. Our bed was never made/changed in the five days we were there.

It was clean and convenient.
I booked the room specifically for the pool. The pool was out of use when we checked in.
