We had an amazing week staying there, except for being awakened at 6 AM every morning by the garbage trucks.

The property was very comfortable and well decorated. The staff was amazing.

I would give the hotel a 10 rating except for one major problem. It is right across the street from the town, recycling and garbage center. Every morning at 6 AM the garbage trucks were very noisy picking up and dropping off garbage. not once a week mind you, EVERY SINGLE morning! It was extremely disturbing. For this reason, I probably will not stay there again even though the hotel was amazing and the proximity to town is perfect. The garbage is a BIG problem!

Best boutique hotel in Healdsburg!

Location very close to the square and all of the best restaurants in Healdsburg. Room (304) spacious with vaulted ceiling and quiet. Furnishing and finishes of good quality. Bathroom large and well-equipped.

The adjacent bar and restaurant (Chalkboard) created some unwelcome pedestrian traffic and noise at times in the hotel lobby, which made it feel less "private" than normal for an establishment affiliated with Relais et Chateaux. Neverthless, this is by far the best hotel experience we have had in Healdsburg and was well worth the premium pricing.

Wonderful visit We we’re able to use the library each day for our meetings which was wonderful.

Decor is lovely, amenities are excellent, location is great. The staff is attentive and friendly

Not what we expected

NOT MUCH to like during our stay - see below! The location in Healdsburg is very good.

No help at front desk most of the time. No Concierge. Front desk clerk had to make breakfast due to lack of personnel. HVAC was being repaired for the building just outside of our room and was very noisy early in the morning. Restaurant dumping trash in the dumpster on the street at 2:05 a.m. No wakeup call as requested. Does not live up to Relais & Chateau standards. No General Manager on duty to talk to so we could express our disappointment.

Elegant and charming chateau in the heart of town.

The hotel is charming and elegant, and the room was lovely and well appointed with a super comfy bed and great shower. The location is spectacular - a block from town center and an easy walk to great restaurants, with an excellent restaurant just downstairs. Hotel staff were also fabulous- very helpful and attentive. Nice little wine and cheese was also offered in late afternoon.

Would have liked to have a coffee bar available downstairs in the morning. And more bread/crackers were always needed with the wine and cheese.

Elegant hotel in the centre of a lovely wine country town.

Fantastic location, right in the centre of town, close to shopping, restaurants and tasting rooms. Great restaurant and bar. Very helpful, charming and knowledgable staff. COVID-friendly in-room breakfast options.

The continental breakfast should have included a coffee or tea option.

TAC doesn't work, the staff has attitude, the restaurant didn't work, and later in the evening was fire at the laundry area, we moved to a much better hotel - Harvest Inn. Awaiting for refund from les mars

Nice place to stay, but spendy.

The room we stayed in did not match the description on line. Apparently they have remodeled some areas and changed some rooms and furnishing. It is very nice, but the websites needs to be updated to match their offerings.

Very Good, loved the quaint style and the location.

Breakfast was good, could be changed up a bit on the complimentary side. The staff were all wonderful, very attentive to our needs. The room was great, very roomy for us 3 ladies.

Our room was warm at night because A/C wasn't working. The manager brought in a window vent which helped a lot but we had to leave the window open and the garbage truck came at 6 a.m. every morning and woke us up.

Superb

The location, 5 min walk to anywhere in town. Quiet area. Room size. Super comfortable bed. Ambiance of the whole hotel. Size of bathtub and shower. Staff and service. Complementary tastings.

The rooms on the third floor are nicer, and may justify the rates better. Breakfast was very limited (due to covid, but still). TV on the room: we tried to hide it (we never use them) but the mechanism didn't work. We tried to use it, and we only found cable tv without popular subscriptions. So in the end it was kind of useless, and was covering some nice paintings.

The room and the hotel were fantastic as was every staff member we interacted with. Everyone was exceptionally helpful, gracious and helped us make decisions about our schedule there. Highly recommended!!!!

Exceptional

Everything really. Beautiful and spacious room, sparkling clean, great design. The winner is a jacuzzi! Hot and delicious breakfast included! Complimentary wine was very nice. We enjoyed it in jacuzzi! Bedding and mattress is very comfortable as well. Was sad we had to leave.

Just for the information, there is no gym, pool or spa.
