Beautiful.
When we checked in we were so excited. Beautiful place. Front desk staff very nice.
First night wine bar staff was not welcoming. Asked us if we wanted to take out selections to our room twice. Kept telling they were closing, but hours stated they were open for two more hours. Just not the romantic experience we expected.
Room wasn’t cleaned between our two night stay. When we asked for coffee service to be refreshed we got one coffee one decaf, 4 creamers, and no clean cups.
Bed was bad and pillows were horrible.

This hotel checks all the boxes. Great decor. Large rooms with all the furnishings needed for comfort plus fridge and micro.
Nice breakfast as well.

Very comfortable bed, large TV, easy connection of our own streaming devices. Good sized room and cute little balcony. Definitely going to stay again if I find myself needing a hotel in the area.

The location is perfect for traveling between Seattle and San Francisco. Our 115 lb. pup is always welcome! The rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is always kind and courteous.

It’s perfectly located for our trip between Washington and California. The Staff is always friendly. They make things as convenient as possible. Do you like
The showerheads are a bit low for the average man.

the bed was comfy and has a fridge and microwave
the rooms were old, they ran out of breakfast sandwiches early for the breakfast, there was hair in my sink and shower, pool was packed with kids (need an adult hour) and we had a view of a trailer park….

The breakfast was delicious and a great value! The decor is awesome and makes the whole thing feel special. Great views, cool tennis court! Clean rooms! Fun experience!
The front desk person was pretty annoying and was just like snappy and unpleasant. The food is good at the cafe but they ran out of apples and didn’t tell me so just gave me a bowl of lettuce for a salad.

Luna Cafe should expand their hours and provide some customer service training for their staff.

Room was very pretty and large. Lobby was very nice.
Stains on the carpet and furniture. Luna was a total mess. No organization, staff were stressed and unfriendly. Need signs to explain the system for customers. Front desk suggested we go there when we asked him to recommend a place for steak and seafoof. They didn't have either. Should be more familiar with menue before recommending.

. Breakfast was good. I loved having a balcony. It was quiet.
The mattress was old and failing. I felt like I was going to fall out of the bed on the right.

The inner courtyard was very pretty and it was quiet in that location.
I had requested a room on the top floor in a quiet area but when we saw the room we requested to change as it was looking over the main road and was in a dark and depressing area. We were then given a room on the first floor as there were none on the second floor and this room was in a very nice area in the inner courtyard which is quiet and pretty. The problem was the condition of the room. I think the carpet had just been cleaned so the room smelled from strong cleaning solution and the carpet was damp. It was terrible so we opened the sliding door for ventilation and eventually the smell dissipated. The carpet remained damp the entire time we were there and the room was dark and depressing. In the end we left a day early as we could not stay any longer. Also, the food there is terrible. The dinner we had was so bad that we could not eat it and therefore we never entered the restaurant for breakfast as we could not trust what it would be like. All of this for a very high fee- not worth it at all!

The smaller than our previous rooms and decor was a little off. The trim around doors was scuffed and needed to be painted. The drawers needed to be sanded and cleaned. The toilet paper and tissues were very rough.
Still, we love the place and want to stay for a month next time.

The location is very good, just off Highway 5 and close to Ashland for any theatre activities. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable and we asked for ground floor and got it without an issue. I thought the bed and linens were superb. Lots of clean towels and also towels at the pool. The breakfast was very nice and of course there is a coffee maker in the room.
The hot tub is hot but has an odor like dirty socks. It may be that the grout needs to be scrubbed. The water itself is treated to the point where one notices the bleach smell.

It is very difficult to travel with pets in the current inflationary environment. Ashland Hill Hotel and Suites is the best place to stay if you are traveling on the I-5 from LA to Portland. I hope that the ownership can invest is some remodeling in the future as the property is in great need of refurbishment.
We wish there were dedicated areas for pets that were well-lighted and maintained. We noticed some examples of a lack of maintenance in the parking areas that should remove old a/c units, debris and trash.

Very peaceful, relaxing, nice pool and hot tub and very friendly staff!! Room service was fast and hot, all very tasty, which exceeded my expectations. Beautiful grounds.
Continental breakfast could have been better.. the egg sandwich was not really edible.
