Wonderful and did not want to leave.

Comfort of the room and the restaurant were great. Staff was wonderful when booking.com did not book the room they had offered and the staff at Surfsand were wonderful in making the best they could to rectify the situation. We had a wonderful stay.

Impeccable property just steps from the beach and a short walk into town.

The room was impeccable, up-to-date, with a fireplace and an amazing view. Location was perfect. 10 min walk to downtown Cannon Beach, literally steps away from Haystack Rock.

This was our Valentine's weekend. The partially blocked view a surprise.

The renovations to our room were excellent. Well done!

I was not aware that our view of the ocean was partially blocked by another building.

Best stay in Cannon Beach!

So close to the beach and to town. Also we had a very convenient room on the bottom floor for our dog and baby to stay, which was amazing.

No complaints, everything was fantastic!

The room is more than $400, but there is no air conditioning. I was shocked.

Best beach vacation I've ever had!

The facilities and activities provided were thoughtful and fun. There were more options than we had time to take advantage of. The nightly bonfire/s'mores, afternoon cookies, and morning treasure hunt (even though we didn't find it) were things we enjoyed everyday.

The temperature wasn't a problem with no AC but the room air would get stale very quickly with no way to move air around the room. We had some inconsiderate neighbors who would smoke outside our open window and exasperate the problem. Having a fan in the room would have really helped.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The bonfires on the beach and complimentary cookies every day were our favorite

Amazing location and views. Plenty of parking. We were disappointed there was no AC in the rooms. The only way to cool them off seemed to be to have the front and back door open which wasn’t ideal and couldn’t do that at night while sleeping

Great setting & place to stay

Location was excellent, accommodation was perfect, we were given clean towels everyday although the bed was not made on our 2nd day, this did not detract from the experience. The cookies and hot chocolate were perfect. Great facilities and the map of the local area and what was available was invaluable. Thank you

Surfsand resort made our first stay to cannon beach so comfortable and enjoyable!

Love the location so close to haystack, the awesome staff were very friendly and accommodating, and I loved the amenities and community events that they hosted. It was awesome!

Everything was great! The only thing is I wish there were dish cleaning items stocked in the room. I forgot to ask because I sure that would have been accommodated too.

Beautiful property with excellent staff

Surfsand was an amazing resort. Our view of the ocean and Haystack Rock was so relaxing to wake up to and view throughout our stay. The beachfront patio was great, as was access to our beach, beach chairs available, nightly fires, and daily little extras, like cookies, tea, ice cream and beer and rootbeer tasting. We could easily walk to the downtown area for meals and shopping, as well as drive within 10 minutes of great hiking. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. We didn't want our room cleaned during our stay, but we're able to exchange our towels and get toiletries from the housekeeping team.

The property does say it is non smoking, but there were definately several smokers that inconsiderately smoked at entrances and on the balconies.

Overall, the stay was good and for one room, excellent.

Both rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had two rooms. One room was perfect. We were put in an ADA room for some reason. The room was very clean and comfortable but the hot water control for the bathroom sink was broken (maintenance came immediately to fix), one side of the mattress squeaked every time I turned over, and the shower head water flow was so low that it was hard to rinse the soap from hair and body. While the staff was polite, they were not personable. We were never asked if everything was ok.
